Abstract

The objective of this research is to improve student learning outcomes in Physical Education, Sports, and Health for fourth-grade students at SD Negeri Ngadirejo 1, Kota Kediri, by utilizing an inclined plane. This study is a Classroom Action Research (CAR) conducted in two cycles, with each cycle consisting of two meetings. Each cycle includes planning, implementing actions, observation, and reflection. The research subjects were 22 fourth-grade students at SD Negeri Ngadirejo 1, consisting of 12 male and 10 female students. Data sources were obtained from teachers and students. Data collection techniques included observation and documentation. The results of the study indicate that using an inclined plane as a teaching aid can enhance student learning outcomes from cycle I to cycle II. Before the intervention, the learning process was conventional, resulting in low student motivation and engagement. In cycle I, session 2, there was an improvement in student motivation, engagement, and learning outcomes, although not yet optimal. The implementation of cycle II led to a further increase in student motivation and engagement, as reflected in the average class score, which rose by 9.47 points from 68.56 (categorized as sufficient) in cycle I to 78.03 (categorized as good) in cycle II. Meanwhile, student learning achievement or mastery increased by 45.46%, from 36.36% in cycle I to 81.82% in cycle II. Additionally, student performance in practice, attitude, and knowledge improved from the "low" category to "sufficient," with the average performance score rising from 60.33 in cycle I to 68.67 in cycle II. Thus, using an inclined plane can support quality learning. The conclusion of this study is that implementing an inclined plane as a learning tool enhances student learning outcomes in the forward roll lesson for fourth-grade students at SD Negeri Ngadirejo 1, Kota Kediri.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to improve the learning outcomes of the squat style long jump in class V students of SDN Ngadirejo 1 Kediri. This research is a classroom action research (PTK). This study was conducted in two cycles, with each cycle consisting of two meetings. The subjects of the study were 31 class V students of SDN Ngadirejo 1 Kediri consisting of 14 male students and 17 female students. Data sources came from teachers, students and researchers. Data collection techniques were through observation and documentation or archives. Data validity used data triangulation techniques. Data analysis used qualitative descriptive techniques using percentage techniques to see the tendencies that occurred in learning activities. The results of the data analysis can be presented as follows: the learning outcomes of students' squat style long jump in Cycle I from 31 students reached 51.61% or as many as 16 students had entered the completion criteria and in Cycle II it increased to 83.87% or as many as 26 students while 5 other students had not completed with a KKM score of 75. The results of the data analysis above can be concluded that the use of learning aids can improve the learning outcomes of squat style long jump in class V students of SDN Ngadirejo 1 Kediri.
