Abstract

Sepuluh Nopember Museum in Surabaya is a historical icon that commemorates the heroic events of November 10, 1945. However, limited access to digital information reduces the opportunity for people, especially the younger generation, to learn more about this history. This research aims to design an interface design for the Museum Sepuluh Nopember website that is informative and educational. The design method uses a design thinking approach. The results show that the user interface design to present an intuitive user experience through a clear navigation structure, the use of visual elements that support historical themes, and the integration of interactive features. Thus, this website is expected to be an effective educational media in remembering the iconic events in Surabaya while increasing public interest in the history of the nation's struggle.

Abstract

 Website sekolah berperan penting sebagai media informasi dan promosi digital yang efektif, terutama di era komunikasi daring saat ini. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang konsep visual website SMK An-Nuuriyyah dengan pendekatan Design Thinking yang menekankan pada pemahaman kebutuhan pengguna. Proses perancangan melibatkan tahapan empathize, define, ideate, prototype, dan test, serta analisis data melalui affinity diagram. Hasil desain menampilkan tata letak yang informatif, pilihan warna dan tipografi yang sesuai dengan identitas sekolah, serta elemen visual yang mendukung pengalaman pengguna. Validasi menunjukkan bahwa desain visual yang dikembangkan mampu meningkatkan keterbacaan, navigasi, dan daya tarik website secara keseluruhan. Konsep visual ini diharapkan dapat memperkuat citra digital sekolah dan memperluas jangkauan informasi kepada masyarakat.

Abstract

This study aimed to design the visual identity of the social campaign FLOW (Find Lights Over Wounds) to promote early awareness of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder among Generation Z. A mixed method approach was applied to explore perceptions, knowledge, and the need for empathetic and communicative educational media. Data were collected through online questionnaires from 108 respondents and in-depth interviews with psychologists, psychiatrists, and PTSD survivors. The findings indicated that Generation Z required visual media that conveyed mental health messages safely and meaningfully. The FLOW logo was developed through brainstorming, sketching, and expert validation, featuring a heart and hands symbolizing empathy and healing. Soft blue, pink, and pastel yellow colors were used to create a calm, warm, and hopeful impression. The campaign effectively fostered emotional awareness and encouraged help-seeking behavior among young audiences.
