Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of work-life balance and physical work environment on the performance of Civil Servant Teachers (ASN) at SMP Negeri 7 Cimahi. A quantitative approach was employed, using survey methods and data collection techniques such as questionnaires, interviews, observations, and documentation. The sample included 36 ASN teachers as respondents for the independent variables and the principal for the dependent variable. The findings revealed that work-life balance was categorized as balanced, with the highest score in the sub-variable of involvement balance (4.24). The physical work environment was rated as good, with workplace safety being the most prominent sub-variable (4.15). Teacher performance was generally categorized as good, with social competence achieving the highest score (4.31). Multiple linear regression analysis revealed that work-life balance and physical work environment positively and significantly influenced teacher performance, both partially and simultaneously, with a simultaneous influence rate of 60.1%. This study contributes to policy development aimed at enhancing work-life balance and optimizing the physical work environment to support teacher performance and improve education quality.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of self-efficacy, proactive personality, and locus of control on interest in entrepreneurship with entrepreneurship education as a moderating variable. Non-probability sampling was the sampling technique used for this study, and the number of samples was 142 respondents which was collected by distributing questionnaires via Google Forms. This study explains that 1) self-efficacy can be used to positively predict entrepreneurial interest; 2) proactive personality can be used to positively predict entrepreneurial interest; 3) locus of control can be used to positively predict entrepreneurial interest; and 4) entrepreneurial education moderates the effect of efficacy and self-interest in entrepreneurship.

Abstract

This study investigated the regeneration of spent fluid catalytic cracking (FCC) catalysts, which become inactive due to the accumulation of poisons at active sites. The objective of the study was to enhance acidity by regenerating spent FCC catalysts through ultrasonic and oxidation processes (UAOPs) and evaluate their effectiveness in synthesizing glycerol monostearate (GMS). The results demonstrate that spent FCC catalysts regenerated with UAOPs can significantly increase catalyst acidity, which plays a crucial role in GMS synthesis. The optimal conditions identified were temperature X1 (60 °C), regeneration time X2 (50 minutes), and flow rate X3 (9 L/h). This optimization was conducted using the Statistica 10 software, resulting in an optimal acidity value of 0.08460 mmol/gram. The GMS yield achieved was 25.33%, which was slightly higher than the yield reported in previous studies utilizing ZSM-5 and dealuminated Y catalysts for the synthesis of glycerol monostearate. Overall, this study suggests that spent FCC catalysts have potential applications in GMS synthesis
