Abstract

The quality of teaching at the elementary education level is primarily determined by the ability and readiness of teachers in developing and implementing effective teaching methods. One of the main factors that guarantee the success of the learning process is the preparation of a structured lesson plan that focuses on student needs. This study aims to conduct an empirical study analyzing the effect of lesson plans on the quality of teacher teaching and learning activities and student learning outcomes at elementary level. The approach used is a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design, involving 12 teachers and 45 students from two classes in one elementary school in Sukasari District, Bandung City. Data collection was carried out through observation of teacher teaching quality and student learning outcome tests. The findings of this study were 86.58% of teachers consistently planning learning can improve teaching quality. Strengthened by the results of student learning analysis using ANCOVA, namely a sig value of 0.000 0.05, confirming that lesson plans affect teaching quality and learning outcomes in science subjects.

Abstract

Permasalahan pada penelitian ini yaitu siswa belum mampu menjelaskan proses pernapasan manusia yang dipelajari dengan pemahamannya sendiri, siswa merasa pembelajaran tidak menyenangkan karena kurangnya media penunjang yang baik. Maka, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh penggunaan Board Game “Ular Tangga” terhadap pemahaman konsep siswa pada materi sistem pernapasan manusia. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pre-eksperimen dengan desain penelitian One Group Pretest-Posttest design. Hasil penelitian yang didapat, kemudian dianalisis dengan uji N-gain dan Uji Paired Sample-T-Test. Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan pada nilai rata-rata posttest setelah menggunakan media Board Game “Ular Tangga” sebesar 31%, dengan rata-rata nilai pretest sebesar 53 dan nilai posttest sebesar 84. Hasil analisis Uji Paired Sample t-Test juga menunjukkan bahwa Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima, dengan signifikansi 0.000 < 0.05. Uji N-Gain sebesar 68% menunjukkan bahwa termasuk dalam kategori cukup efektif. Berdasarkan penjelasan tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa melalui penggunaan media pembelajaran Board Game “Ular Tangga”, pada penelitian ini mencatat adanya dampak positif terhadap pemahaman konsep siswa kelas V pada materi sistem pernapasan manusia.

Abstract

In this era of rapidly developing technology, the influence of foreign cultures such as western culture is entering Indonesia very quickly, especially among teenagers. The purpose of this study is to use the Linktree Website for students to understand the influence of western culture which is contrary to the Islamic perspective. While the benefits of this research are expected for students to be more careful in following western cultural trends in everyday life. This method uses Development and Design (D&D) with the ADDIE model which consists of going through the stages of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. At the analysis stage, teenagers who are easily attracted to outside cultures and are good at using technology are the background of this research. At the design stage, it was done by compiling content according to the results of observations and interviews on GoogleForm which was distributed to 30 students. At the development stage, content is included in YouTube videos and the results of product evaluations on Quiziz. This implementation stage links the product link on the Linktree website by testing it with students. The results of research on product trials to students resulted in 99% with effective qualifications in providing information. So it can be concluded that the use of technology by utilizing the Linktree website is effective in providing information on the influence of western culture which is contrary to Islamic.
