<![CDATA[This study aims to determine the relationship between population’s education level and population’sknowledge toward behavior on waste management in the population of Patemon Village,Gunungpati District. Researcher collects the data by using questionnaire, observation anddocumentation. The sample used is 100 respondents taken in insidental sampling. Results of thestudy: (1) The population education level in Patemon Village is classified as good at 61.6%. (2) Thepopulation knowledge level in Patemon Village is classified as hight at 14,16%. (3) Populationbehavior towards waste management is classified as hight at 47.1%. The results of the study statethat the population’s education level obtained the value of tcount = 4.075 and sig = 4.075 = 0.000%<5% and the population’s knowledge level obtained the value of tcount = 2.415 and sig = 0.018 =1.8% <5%. Conclusion there is a no relationship between the level of education and behavior ofwaste management, there is no correlation between the level of knowledge on waste management.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahuihubungan tingkat pendidikan penduduk, tingkat pengetahuan penduduk terhadapperilaku dalam pengelolaan sampah pada penduduk di Kelurahan Patemon KecamatanGunungpati. Peneliti mengumpulkan data menggunakan kuesioner, observasi dandokumentasi. Sampel yang digunakan sebaganya 100 responden yang diambil secarainsidental sampling. Hasil penelitian : (1) Tingkat pendidikan penduduk di KelurahanPatemon tergolong sedang sebesar 61,6 %. (2) Tingkat pengetahuan penduduk diKeluraha Patemon tergolong tinggi sebesar 14,16 %. (3) Prilaku penduduk terhadappengelolaan sampah tergolong tinggi sebesar 47,1 %. Hasil penelitian menyatakan tingkatpendidikan penduduk diperoleh nilai thitung = 4,075 dan sig = 4,075 = 0,000% < 5% dantingkat pengetahuan penduduk diperoleh nilai thitung = 2,415 dan sig = 0,018 = 1,8% <5%. Kesimpulan didapatkan hasil tidak ada hubungan antara tingkat pendidikanterhadap perilaku pengelolaan sampah, tidak ada hubungan tingkat pengetahuanterhadap pengelolaan sampah.]]>
