Abstract

This article discusses the role of branding in the field of public relations (PR) as a strategic effort to build and manage an organization's image and reputation. Branding and PR have a close relationship, where PR functions as a communication manager that effectively conveys brand messages to the public. The article also reviews challenges and opportunities faced in implementing branding through PR, especially in dealing with changing trends, reputation crises, and the utilization of digital technology and social media. The implementation methods of branding, including strategic planning, media selection, and effectiveness measurement, are also comprehensively explained. With this understanding, organizations can optimize PR functions to strengthen brands and build long-term relationships with the public.

Abstract

Leasing is a crucial financing alternative for Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in Indonesia, which often face challenges in obtaining working capital through traditional loans. This article discusses the role of leasing in entrepreneurship development, focusing on ease of access, payment flexibility, and the ability for entrepreneurs to acquire necessary assets without significant initial capital. However, there are several challenges faced by entrepreneurs, such as limited understanding of leasing concepts, difficulties in meeting collateral requirements, and the risks of payment delays that can hinder business growth. Therefore, it is essential for entrepreneurs to enhance their understanding of leasing and for the government to strengthen regulations and oversight of the leasing industry. With these measures, leasing can be an effective solution to support business development in Indonesia. Abstrak Leasing merupakan alternatif pembiayaan yang sangat penting bagi Usaha Kecil dan Menengah (UKM) di Indonesia, yang sering menghadapi kendala dalam memperoleh modal kerja melalui pinjaman tradisional. Artikel ini membahas peran leasing dalam pengembangan kewirausahaan, dengan fokus pada kemudahan akses, fleksibilitas pembayaran, dan kemampuan pengusaha untuk memperoleh aset yang dibutuhkan tanpa modal awal yang besar. Meskipun demikian, terdapat beberapa tantangan yang dihadapi oleh pengusaha, seperti keterbatasan pemahaman tentang konsep leasing, kesulitan dalam memenuhi persyaratan jaminan, dan risiko keterlambatan pembayaran yang dapat menghambat perkembangan usaha. Oleh karena itu, penting bagi pengusaha untuk meningkatkan pemahaman mereka tentang leasing dan bagi pemerintah untuk memperkuat regulasi dan pengawasan industri leasing. Dengan langkah-langkah tersebut, leasing dapat menjadi solusi efektif untuk mendukung pengembangan usaha di Indonesia.
