Abstract

Public trust in Islamic banking has been a significant challenge in recent years. This is influenced by several factors such as lack of technology literature, technology distribution, cybersecurity, regulatory frameworks, customer awareness, and financial inclusion. This research aims to highlight the technology in restoring public trust in Islamic banking and present practical strategies for digital Sharia banks. This research aims to identify public trust in Islamic banking in Indonesia through technology. This research design is descriptive qualitative and the type of data used is secondary data. Sources and data were obtained from OJK websites, books, the internet, social media, journals, and other relevant digital format. Data is processed using the Python programming language. The results of this research indicate that digital literacy for Bank Hijra is less well-known among the public. From the mobile banking application, the rating of the sample banks shows a number above 4. User reviews show that the use of these applications has not yet achieved maximum customer satisfaction, as there are still complaints about data security concerns. It concluded that customer trust in digital Sharia banks has indeed increased, but there is still a need to improve data security and digital literacy, and user experience for the public.

Abstract

Penggunaan media sosial yang tinggi di kalangan pelajar belum sepenuhnya diimbangi dengan pemahaman yang memadai mengenai etika digital. Rendahnya kesadaran terhadap etika bermedia sosial seringkali menyebabkan munculnya perilaku negatif, seperti penyebaran informasi palsu, ujaran kebencian, dan perundungan digital. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kesadaran dan pemahaman siswa mengenai pentingnya etika dalam berinteraksi di media sosial, serta mengevaluasi pengaruhnya terhadap pola interaksi online mereka. Kegiatan dilaksanakan di SMK Negeri 5 Kota Tangerang melalui pendekatan edukatif partisipatif, berupa pelatihan, diskusi kelompok, dan simulasi kasus. Siwa dan siswi kelas X dan XI terlibat sebagai peserta aktif. Evaluasi dilakukan dengan menggunakan pre-test dan post-test, observasi perilaku saat kegiatan berlangsung, serta wawancara dengan siswa dan guru. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman dan perubahan sikap positif terhadap penggunaan media sosial secara etis. Kegiatan ini juga berkontribusi dalam membentuk budaya digital yang bertanggung jawab di lingkungan sekolah. Program pengabdian ini efektif dalam meningkatkan kesadaran etika digital siswa dan mendorong terciptanya interaksi online yang sehat, sehingga dapat memberikan dampak sosial positif bagi komunitas sekolah secara keseluruhan.

Abstract

Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM) merupakan sektor penting dalam perekonomian Indonesia, namun masih menghadapi tantangan dalam pengelolaan keuangan dan pemasaran. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat yang berlangsung di Universitas LIA, dirancang untuk meningkatkan kompetensi para pelaku UMKM melalui pelatihan, monitoring, dan evaluasi berkelanjutan. Pendekatan yang digunakan bersifat partisipatif, dengan melibatkan 10 pelaku UMKM dalam pelatihan keuangan praktis, pemanfaatan aplikasi pencatatan sederhana, serta strategi pemasaran digital. Materi pelatihan keuangan menitikberatkan pada pencatatan pemasukan dan pengeluaran yang kerap kali masih menjadi titik lemah bagi pelaku UMKM. Sesi pemasaran digital difokuskan pada pemanfaatan media sosial guna menjangkau konsumen secara lebih efektif dan efisien. Berdasarkan hasil evaluasi, terlihat peningkatan signifikan pada kemampuan pencatatan keuangan, pemahaman pemisahan modal, serta aktivitas promosi melalui media sosial. Mayoritas peserta menyampaikan manfaat praktis dari pelatihan, seperti transaksi yang lebih teratur dan strategi promosi yang lebih terarah. Meski demikian, tantangan tetap muncul, terutama terkait konsistensi pencatatan keuangan dan waktu pelatihan yang dinilai singkat sehingga tidak semua materi dapat dibahas secara mendalam. Secara keseluruhan, program ini terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan kompetensi pengelolaan bisnis UMKM. Untuk memastikan keberlanjutan dan dampak positif jangka panjang, sangat disarankan adanya pendampingan lanjutan, pembentukan grup komunikasi antar pelaku UMKM, serta pelatihan lanjutan yang lebih intensif. Upaya ini penting agar pertumbuhan dan profesionalisme UMKM dapat terus terjaga dan berkembang.

Abstract

Digital startups are highly vulnerable to financial distress due to limited historical financial data and imbalanced datasets between healthy and distressed firms. These challenges reduce the accuracy of existing prediction models, hindering early risk detection for investors and policymakers. This study aims to optimize financial distress prediction in Indonesian digital startups by applying Generative Adversarial Networks (GANs) for financial data augmentation. GANs are used to generate synthetic financial data that replicate real-world distributions, particularly for the minority class, to balance the dataset. A quantitative experimental design was employed, comparing baseline and GAN-augmented models trained on financial ratios such as ROA, ROE, and DER. The results show that the GAN-augmented model achieved higher accuracy (92%), precision (91%), recall (88%), and F1-score (90%) compared to the baseline model. These findings confirm that GAN-based augmentation enhances model robustness and prediction reliability under limited data conditions. The study contributes to financial distress prediction literature by integrating deep learning with synthetic data generation, offering a practical tool for early detection of financial instability in digital startups and supporting data-driven risk management in Indonesia’s digital economy.

Abstract

The rapid growth of Islamic financial technology (fintech) has opened new opportunities for micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) to access capital. However, investment decision-making remains complex due to diverse risk and return profiles. This study aims to develop a smart investment decision model for MSMEs on Islamic fintech platforms by integrating the Preference Selection Index (PSI) and Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats (SWOT) methods. Primary data were collected from 30 MSMEs engaged in Islamic fintech funding within the Greater Jakarta area and from 116 users of Islamic fintech platforms serving as respondents. The PSI method was applied to rank MSMEs based on five criteria, return on investment, business risk, capital needs, Sharia compliance, and platform reputation. Results show that Business Risk and Sharia Compliance are the most influential factors determining investment eligibility. The SWOT analysis identified strong platform transparency and Sharia adherence as internal strengths, alongside challenges related to repayment flexibility and financial literacy. Integrating PSI and SWOT produced a comprehensive, Sharia-aligned decision-support framework that enhances objectivity, accuracy, and transparency in MSME funding evaluations. The findings offer actionable insights for investors, fintech operators, and policymakers to strengthen ethical, inclusive, and sustainable Islamic digital finance ecosystems.
