Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis implementasi accounting information system berbasis digital dalam optimalisasi pengelolaan kas kecil di PT Alishan Nusa Indah dengan menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif. Transformasi dari sistem manual ke digital dilaksanakan melalui empat tahap strategis, yaitu persiapan, piloting, rollout bertahap, dan stabilisasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan efisiensi operasional yang signifikan, dengan percepatan proses approval dari dua hingga tiga hari menjadi empat hingga enam jam, pengurangan kesalahan pencatatan dari rata-rata tiga hingga lima kesalahan per bulan menjadi hampir nol, serta efisiensi rekonsiliasi dari empat hingga enam jam menjadi sekitar 30–45 menit. Sistem digital memperkuat pengendalian internal melalui penerapan authorization hierarchy, real-time monitoring, dan comprehensive audit trail yang mendukung pencegahan fraud. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi praktis berupa rekomendasi best practices implementasi sistem informasi akuntansi digital yang relevan bagi perusahaan dengan kompleksitas operasional serupa. This study aims to analyze the implementation of a digital-based accounting information system to optimize petty cash management at PT Alishan Nusa Indah using a descriptive qualitative method. The transformation from a manual to a digital system was carried out through four strategic stages: preparation, piloting, gradual rollout, and stabilization. The results demonstrate a significant improvement in operational efficiency, with the approval process accelerated from two to three days to four to six hours, the elimination of almost all recording errors from an average of three to five per month to nearly zero, and enhanced reconciliation efficiency from four to six hours to about 30–45 minutes. The digital system strengthened internal controls through a robust authorization hierarchy, real-time monitoring, a comprehensive audit trail, and effective fraud prevention mechanisms. This study provides practical insights and best practices for implementing digital accounting systems in companies with similar operational complexities.
