Abstract

This study aims to develop an attendance monitoring system using RFID with WhatsApp notifications. The RFID system utilizes radio waves for object identification and tracking, the system also utilizes fonts as a supporting application as api-whatsapp. Application testing is used in 2 ways, blackbox testing and UAT (User Acceptance Test). From the results of the design of the attendance system quality measurement application, it was successfully realized with blackbox testing. Blackbox testing is a test that ensures that the system that has been designed runs properly and correctly, while UAT (User Acceptance Test) testing is the final test to ensure that the software meets user needs. The test results at SMK Negeri 5 Gorontalo show that the attendance system using RFID can read and process data accurately. The system also operates consistently by sending notifications to parents after students scan their attendance.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi digital membawa dampak besar dalam dunia pendidikan, khususnya dalam mengelola kegiatan belajar mengajar di kelas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan website manajemen kelas berbasis web yang terintegrasi, menggunakan pendekatan Feature-Driven Development (FDD). Website ini dirancang untuk membantu guru dan siswa dalam aktivitas pendidikan seperti pembuatan materi, pengumpulan tugas, penyelenggaraan ujian, absensi, dan rekapitulasi nilai secara otomatis serta forum diskusi. Penelitian ini menggabungkan metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) sebagai pendekatan terhadap praktik pembelajaran nyata dalam lingkungan pendidikan, dan metode FDD sebagai kerangka sistematis dalam proses pengembangan fitur. Website ini dikembangkan menggunakan framework Node.js dan PostgreSQL sebagai database. Pengujian dilakukan melalui Blackbox Testing untuk memastikan fungsi berjalan sesuai harapan, serta System Usability Scale (SUS) untuk mengukur persepsi kenyamanan penggunaan sistem dari sisi pengguna. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa semua fitur berjalan dengan baik, dan skor rata-rata SUS dari 9 responden guru adalah 76,5, yang termasuk dalam kategori “Baik” dan 6 responden siswa adalah 57,92, yang termasuk dalam kategori “OK” Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penggabungan metode FDD dan PTK dapat menghasilkan sistem manajemen kelas yang tidak hanya fungsional secara teknis, tetapi juga responsif terhadap kebutuhan praktis di lapangan, khususnya dalam mendukung implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka di Indonesia
