Abstract

Vocational school students often face challenges in planning their career paths and presenting their competencies in a structured and digital format. This community service program aims to assist students in preparing career plans and developing digital portfolios that reflect their personal achievements, skills, and aspirations. The activity was conducted in three stages: (1) initial preparation involving coordination with the school and student needs assessment, (2) interactive training on career planning and digital portfolio creation using platforms such as Canva and Google Sites, and (3) feedback sessions where students presented their portfolios and received constructive input. Throughout the program, students were guided on how to reflect their strengths, skills, and future aspirations into a digital format, providing them with a comprehensive tool for job applications or further studies. The results showed a significant increase in students’ understanding of career planning and their ability to independently create well-structured digital portfolios. The majority of participants (78%) completed their digital portfolios, and over 80% were actively engaged during the sessions, demonstrating a high level of enthusiasm and commitment. This program highlights the effectiveness of a participatory and practice-based approach in enhancing students' career readiness and equipping them with essential tools for the modern job market. The students’ improved ability to showcase their competencies in a digital format also supports the evolving needs of employers in the digital age. Future programs are recommended to include advanced modules on digital personal branding, interview preparation, and networking skills to further support vocational students in successfully entering the workforce or continuing their education.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan motivasi berwirausaha di kalangan siswa Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) Muhammadiyah 2 Boja sebagai upaya menyiapkan generasi muda yang mandiri secara ekonomi. Latar belakang kegiatan ini didasarkan pada rendahnya minat siswa SMK untuk menciptakan usaha mandiri, yang disebabkan oleh minimnya motivasi dan pendekatan kewirausahaan yang lebih bersifat teoritis. Melalui pendekatan interaktif, kegiatan ini dilaksanakan dalam empat tahapan utama, yaitu persiapan, pelaksanaan motivasi kewirausahaan, refleksi dan evaluasi, serta tindak lanjut. Metode yang digunakan meliputi seminar interaktif, pemutaran video inspiratif, diskusi kelompok kecil, dan pengisian kuesioner pre-test serta post-test. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan pada perubahan persepsi siswa terhadap kewirausahaan (44%), peningkatan semangat berwirausaha (48%), serta kesiapan siswa dalam memulai usaha (27%). Selain itu, sebanyak 54% peserta menyatakan sangat puas terhadap materi yang disampaikan. Kegiatan ini terbukti memberikan dampak positif dalam membentuk karakter siswa yang lebih mandiri, kreatif, dan berdaya saing. Tindak lanjut kegiatan berupa pelatihan lanjutan. Dengan demikian, motivasi berwirausaha yang diberikan secara langsung dan kontekstual menjadi strategi efektif dalam menyiapkan lulusan SMK yang tidak hanya siap kerja, tetapi juga mampu menciptakan lapangan kerja.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of organizational factors—workload, institutional policy support, leadership, competency and training, and incentives—on human resource loyalty within law enforcement institutions, viewed through an Islamic leadership perspective. Employing a quantitative approach with a survey design, data were collected from 100 law enforcement officers involved in narcotics prevention and eradication efforts in Semarang City, Indonesia. The data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling with the Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) method. The results reveal that leadership has the strongest and most significant effect on human resource loyalty, followed by incentives and institutional policy support, while competency and training, and workload show weaker effects. The model demonstrates a very high explanatory power, with an R² value of 0.975, indicating that organizational factors collectively account for 97.5% of the variance in human resource loyalty. The findings highlight that leadership characterized by amanah (trustworthiness), adl (justice), and ihsan (excellence) is the cornerstone of employee commitment and institutional harmony. Fair incentives and consistent policy support further enhance loyalty through organizational justice and collective welfare (maslahah). This study contributes to the enrichment of Islamic Human Resource Management (IHRM) literature by integrating ethical and spiritual dimensions into the understanding of loyalty. Practically, it emphasizes that leadership grounded in Islamic ethics, supported by fair institutional structures, fosters not only professional dedication but also barakah (divine blessing) and sustainable organizational integrity.
