Abstract

This research discusses the analysis of educational preparation in America and Indonesia in creating an educated generation that is ready to face the demands of the 21st century. The 21st century is marked as an era of openness and globalization which presents fundamental changes in human lifestyles. Education in the 21st century must be able to adapt to these changes and prepare an educated generation with critical thinking, communication, creativity and collaboration skills. Through cooperation between America and Indonesia, the development of flexible curricula, project-based learning, the use of technology in learning, and collaboration between teachers can improve the quality of education and prepare the younger generation to face global challenges. It is hoped that the results of this research can provide useful insights in the development of 21st century education in both countries.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of audit findings, internal auditor quality, and audit follow-up on financial statement disclosure at PT ASABRI (Persero) South Sumatra. This study employed a quantitative approach with a causal associative research design. Data were obtained from 29 respondents selected using purposive sampling and collected through questionnaires. Data analysis was performed using multiple linear regression with SPSS version 31.1 software. The results indicate that partially, audit findings, internal auditor quality, and audit follow-up do not significantly influence financial statement disclosure. However, simultaneously, these three variables significantly influence financial statement disclosure at PT ASABRI (Persero) South Sumatra. The coefficient of determination indicates that audit findings, internal auditor quality, and audit follow-up explain 47.4% of the variation in financial statement disclosure, while the remainder is influenced by other variables outside the research model. The results of this study indicate that the management of audit findings, improving the quality of internal auditors, and the effectiveness of audit follow-up collectively play a significant role in enhancing the transparency and accountability of financial statement disclosure.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keefektifan media pembelajaran flash card terhadap kemampuan numerasi siswa kelas III Sekolah Dasar pada materi penjumlahan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode eksperimen yang melibatkan dua kelompok, yaitu kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Kelas eksperimen berjumlah 23 siswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran menggunakan media flash card, sedangkan kelas kontrol berjumlah 21 siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran konvensional. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui tes kemampuan numerasi dalam bentuk pretest dan posttest untuk mengetahui kemampuan awal dan akhir siswa setelah perlakuan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan awal kedua kelas relatif sebanding. Setelah diberikan perlakuan, terjadi peningkatan kemampuan numerasi pada kedua kelas, namun peningkatan pada kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi dibanding kan kelas kontrol. Penggunaan media flash card membantu siswa memahami konsep penjumlahan secara lebih konkret melalui penyajian soal dan langkah penyelesaian yang sistematis. Selain itu, media ini mendorong keaktifan, ketelitian, serta pemahaman prosedural siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal. Dengan demikian, media flash card efektif digunakan sebagai alternatif pembelajaran untuk meningkatkan kemampuan numerasi siswa sekolah dasar pada materi penjumlahan.
