Abstract

Factual problems in the field are that there are still some MSMEs who upload product photos with poor lighting, inappropriate backgrounds, and without considering design aesthetics and visual identity. This condition indicates the need for educational intervention in the form of training that can help business actors understand the importance of product design as well as basic technical skills such as taking product photos, using simple design applications, and effective visual design principles. The method used in this community service activity is a participatory educational approach through training activities and direct practice focused on improving participants' skills in designing and presenting products visually for digital marketing purposes. The results of the implementation of this community service activity identified that increasing the capacity of MSMEs in designing and presenting products more attractively on e-commerce platforms. An important lesson from this activity is that the digitalization of MSMEs does not always have to start from complex technological aspects, but can start from simple things but have a big impact, such as improving the visual quality of the product. Attractive product design can be an entry point to building a professional business presence in the digital world.

This study aims to examine the effect of product innovation and product quality on competitive advantage in Chocodot products. A quantitative research design with a descriptive approach was employed, involving 123 respondents selected through simple random sampling. Data were collected using a questionnaire and analyzed with SPSS 27 through multiple linear regression, data quality tests, coefficient of determination, and hypothesis testing. The findings indicate that product innovation influences competitive advantage by 67.1%, product quality contributes 70.2%, and both variables simultaneously account for 74.8%, while 25.2% is explained by other factors beyond this research. These results highlight that product innovation and product quality are critical determinants of competitive advantage, providing a strategic foundation for the development of local SMEs.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of Augmented Reality (AR)-based Product Visualization on Customer Satisfaction in the wall paint industry. A quantitative survey method was employed, collecting primary data through questionnaires from customers of wall paint companies. Regression analysis was used to analyze the data and identify the influence of the independent variable (AR-based Product Visualization) on the dependent variable (Customer Satisfaction). The research results reveal that AR-based Product Visualization significantly affects customer satisfaction (t calculated > t critical, 11.155 > 1.980). Approximately 52.6% of the variation in customer satisfaction can be explained by AR-based Product Visualization. These findings indicate that the implementation of AR technology in the wall paint industry can enhance customer satisfaction.
