Abstract

Abstrak  Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang media pembelajaran berbasis multimedia pada mata pelajaran teknik kerja ukir kelas XI Jurusan Kriya Kayu dan Rotan SMK Negeri 4 Gorontalo. Penelitian menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian RD (Research and Development) model 4D, yaitu define, design, develop, disseminate. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perancangan media pembelajaran berbasis multimedia mata pelajaran teknik kerja ukir kelas XI Jurusan Kriya Kayu dan Rotan dapat dilakukan melalui beberapa tahapan: 1) pendefinisian yaitu melakukan analisis awal-akhir terdiri dari aspek sejarah, sarana dan prasarana, sumber daya, dan kurikulum, analisis siswa, konsep, dan tujuan; 2) perancangan yaitu penyusunan rancangan desain materi dan evaluasi tampilan multimedia, pembuatan storyboard, dan penyajian tampilan visual; 3) pengembangan yaitu merealisasikan produk berupa media pembelajaran berbasis multimedia, kemudian divalidasi oleh ahli materi memperoleh skor 52 dengan nilai persentase 94%, termasuk kategori “sangat layak”, validasi oleh validator ahli media mendapatkan skor 75 dengan persentase kevalidan 93% termasuk kategori ”sangat layak”, dan hasil uji coba terbatas untuk menentukan keefektifan media pembelajaran dari respons siswa dan guru memperoleh rata-rata nilai 57 dengan persentase 95% dengan kategori “sangat efektif”; 4) penyebaran media pembelajaran berbasis multimedia yang berhasil dirancang dikemas berbentuk exe disebarkan dengan memberikan produk ke pihak sekolah. Disimpulkan, bahwa media pembelajaran berbasis multimedia untuk mata pelajaran teknik kerja ukir yang berhasil dirancang telah memenuhi kriteria layak dan efektif, sehingga dapat digunakan secara berkelanjutan dalam pembelajaran teknik kerja ukir di kelas XI Jurusan Kriya Kayu dan Rotan SMK Negeri 4 Gorontalo.   Kata kunci: Perancangan, Media pembelajaran, Multimedia, teknik kerja ukir   The Design of Multimedia-Based Learning Media for the Wood Carving Techniques Subject in Grade XI of the Wood and Rattan Craft Major at SMK Negeri 4 Gorontalo  Abstract This research aims to design multimedia-based learning media for the wood carving techniques subject in Grade XI of the Wood and Rattan Craft Major at SMK Negeri 4 Gorontalo. This research employs a quantitative descriptive method with a 4D RD model, consisting of define, design, develop, and disseminate stages. The results show that the design of multimedia-based learning media for the wood carving techniques subject in Grade XI of the Wood and Rattan Craft Major could be conducted through the following stages: 1) the stage of define, which includes conducting a preliminary and final analysis covering historical aspects, facilities and infrastructure, resources, curriculum, student analysis, concepts, and objectives; 2) the stage of design, which involves preparing the material design and evaluating the multimedia display, creating storyboards, and presenting visual displays; 3) the stage of develop, which includes realizing the product in the form of multimedia-based learning media, validated by material experts with a score of 52 and a percentage of 94%, categorized as "very feasible" and validation by media experts with a score of 75 and a validity percentage of 93%, also categorized as "very feasible" Limited trials are conducted to analyze the effectiveness of the learning media, resulting in an average score of 57 with a percentage of 95%, categorized as "very effective"; 4) disseminate, where the successfully designed multimedia-based learning media is packaged as an executable file (exe) and distributed to the school. Thus, this research concludes that this multimedia-based learning media for the wood carving techniques subject is successfully designed. Yet, it also meets the criteria for feasibility and effectiveness, making it suitable for continuous use in teaching wood carving techniques in Grade XI Wood and Rattan Craft Major at SMK Negeri 4 Gorontalo.   Keywords: Design, Learning Media, Multimedia, Wood Carving Techniques
