Abstract

Puskesmas (Community Health Centers) are primary healthcare facilities that provide essential health services including promotive, preventive, curative, and rehabilitative efforts in a comprehensive, integrated, and continuous manner. This unified healthcare approach serves as a standard for all health facilities in Indonesia, including Puskesmas. Islamic-based health services are characterized by four core values: rabbaniyyah (God-centered), akhlaqiyyah (moral), waqi’iyyah (realistic), and insaniyyah (humanistic). This study aims to determine the influence of services based on Sharia principles on patient satisfaction in the Pharmacy Unit of Karangdoro Puskesmas, Semarang City. A descriptive quantitative  approach was used with purposive sampling. The results show that all instruments across the five dimensions (Rabbaniyyah, Akhlaqiyyah, Waqi’iyyah, Insaniyyah, and Satisfaction) are valid and reliable for data collection. Patients expressed high satisfaction with services that were polite, fair, friendly, and informative in accordance with Islamic values. However, statistical analysis (t-test and ANOVA) revealed that Sharia-based service principles did not have a significant effect on patient satisfaction, as all significance values were greater than 0.05. Although patients appreciated the Sharia approach, it has not been statistically proven to improve satisfaction. Therefore, enhancing patient satisfaction requires improving pharmacy services in a more comprehensive way, rather than focusing solely on religious values.

Abstract

Community Health Centers (Puskesmas) are basic health service facilities that organize health maintenance efforts, health improvement (promotive), disease prevention (preventive), disease healing (curative), and health recovery (rehabilitative), which are implemented in a comprehensive, integrated, and sustainable manner. Hypertension is defined as an increase in systolic blood pressure of more than 140 mmHg and an increase in diastolic blood pressure of more than 90 mmHg. The use of appropriate hypertension medication is one of the functions of successful hypertension treatment. There are 4 main characteristics in Islamic services, namely rabbaniyah, akhlaqiyah, waqi'iyah and insaniyah. What distinguishes Islamic health services from non-Islamic health services lies in the rabbaniyah characteristics, namely belief and submission of everything because of the will of Allah SWT. This study aims to determine the profile of antihypertensive drug use in outpatients at the Poncol Health Center UPTD in the 2024 period and to determine the ATC/DDD value in the evaluation of antihypertensive drug use in outpatients at the Poncol Health Center UPTD in the 2024 period. The results of the study showed that the antihypertensive drugs used at the Poncol Health Center UPTD in 2024 with an average quantity of use of, Amlodipine 87.83 DDD/1000 KPRJ, Candesartan 5.73 DDD/1000 KPRJ, Liaianopril 3.67 DDD/1000 KPRJ, Bisoprolol 1.83 DDD/1000 KPRJ, Hydrochlorothiazide 0.68 DDD/1000 KPRJ, Nifedipine 0.24 DDD/1000 KPRJ, Furosemide 0.09 DDD/1000 KPRJ, Valsartan 0.014 DDD/1000 KPRJ, Telmisartan 0.0037 DDD/1000 KPRJ, captopril 0.0023 DDD/1000 KPRJ. Abstract

Pneumonia is an infectious disease of the lower respiratory tract that causes mortality and morbidity in hospitals. Common symptoms of pneumonia are fever, chills, headache, cough with phlegm and shortness of breath (Apriliany et al., 2022). Pneumonia causes acute inflammation of the lung tissue (alveoli) caused by bacteria, viruses, fungi, or parasites (Salasanti et al., 2024). Pneumonia can be prevented by using antibiotics. Inappropriate use of antibiotics can cause antibiotic resistance. So it is necessary to control the use of antibiotics by conducting a quantitative evaluation. The purpose of this study was to determine the profile of antibiotic use and the quantity of antibiotic use in pneumonia patients at Tugurejo Hospital in Semarang City in 2024 calculated by the ATC/DDD method. This study is an observational study with a retrospective cross-sectional design using medical record data of pneumonia patients hospitalized at RSUD Tugurejo Semarang City.
