Abstract

This study aims to improve the learning outcomes of students of class VIIA SMP Negeri 2 Pahunga Lodu on the material of the Earth and Solar System through a cooperative learning model of Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) type assisted by leaflet and question box media. The type of research applied is Classroom Action Research (PTK) with the Kemmis and Mc. Taggart model. The research subjects of class VIIA amounted to 33 students. The results showed an increase in the average cognitive score from 48.18 in the pre-cycle to 66.96 in cycle II, while learning completeness from 30.30% to 81.81% in cycle II. In the affective aspect, there was also an increase, with a very high category reaching 75.75% in cycle II. With the above percentage results, the application of the STAD type cooperative learning model assisted by leaflet media equipped with question boxes is proven effective in improving student learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether the (NHT) learning approach combined with diorama media displaying LKPD crossword puzzles can affect the learning outcomes of seventh grade students at Muhammadiyah Waingapu Middle School. This type of research is experimental research. It consists of two classes: the experimental class and the control class. The stages of the research are: preparation, implementation, and completion. The sample for this study consisted of 18 students of class VII A, which is the experimental class, and 16 students of class VII B, which is the control class. The data collection techniques and instruments used were tests. The data analysis techniques used were validity and reliability tests, descriptive analysis, normality and homogeneity tests, hypothesis testing, namely paired sample t-tests using SPSS version 31. The results of the study can be seen from the comparison of the average value of the control class 49.06 (pretest), 59.06 (posttest) and the experimental class average value obtained 57.78 (pretest), 89.44 (posttest). The results of hypothesis testing using the dependent sample t test which has a Sig value (2-tailed) of 0.000 means that the value is <0.05 so that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. It can be concluded that the numbered head together learning model assisted by diorama media equipped with LKPD Crossword Puzzles has a significant effect on the learning outcomes of class VII A students which is an experimental class at SMP Muhammadiyah Waingapu.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the impact of the STAD type cooperative learning model using smart box media and equipped with LKPD Question Cards. This investigation was conducted at SMP PGRI Waingapu, with class VIII B functioning as a control group consisting of 24 students, while class VIII C functioning as an experimental group with a total of 23 students in the 2025/2026 academic year. This type of research can be explained through a comparison of the average value of the control group obtained, namely 51.84 (pretest) and 82.27 (posttest), and the average value of the experimental group of 43.07 (pretest) and 73.84 (posttest). The results of hypothesis testing were carried out using a sample t-test which showed an Asmp. Sig (tailed) value of 0.001, which means the value is <0.05 so that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. It can be concluded that the STAD type cooperative learning model assisted by smart box media equipped with LKPD Question Cards has a significant effect on the learning outcomes of class VIII C students which is an experimental class at SMP PGRI Waingapu.
