Abstract

Masa remaja merupakan fase penting dalam siklus kehidupan yang dicirikan secara laju kembang tumbuh, menjadikan keperluan gizi pada remaja sangat krusial. Konsumsi sayur serta buah yang memadai penting untuk memelihara status gizi. Namun, tingkat konsumsi pada remaja Indonesia masih rendah. Studi ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara konsumsi sayur dan buah dengan status gizi remaja di SMK Negeri 4 Surakarta. Studi ini memakai pendekatan kuantitatif secara rancangan cross-sectional dari 61 responden dari siswa kelas XI jurusan Tata Boga dan Perhotelan yang dipilih secara acak. Data konsumsi sayur serta buah dikumpulkan mempergunakan kuesioner Food Frequency Questionnaire(FFQ) dan wawancara. Status gizi diukur mempergunakan IMT/U dan dikategorikan berdasarkan standar Kementrian RI tahun 2023. Uji statistik yang dipergunakan ialah Chi-Square. Temuan analisis mengindikasikan jika 75,4% narasumber mempunyai status gizi normal, sementara 24,6% mengalami status gizi tidak normal (gizi kurang, lebih, serta obesitas). Sebanyak 60,7% responden tergolong memiliki konsumsi sayur serta buah yang cukup dan baik, sedangkan 39,3% tergolong rendah. Perolehan pengujian Chi-Square mengindikasikan, tak terdapatnya hubungan signifikan dari konsumsi sayur serta buah secara status gizi (p=0,202). Meskipun demikian, konsumsi sayur serta buah tetap berkontribusi utama untuk menunjang kesehatan remaja secara menyeluruh. Oleh karena itu, dibutuhkan intervensi edukatif dan promotif dalam meningkatkan kesadaran gizi seimbang di lingkungan sekolah untuk mendukung pertumbuhan dan perkembangan remaja yang optimal.

Abstract

Hypertension and nutrition are more health problems that are priorities to be addressed. Complications of hypertension can cause health problems later in life and can cause death. Nutrition is a risk factor for hypertension. For this reason, it is necessary to prevent this problem at the Colomadu Community Health Center. The aim of this activity is to increase the knowledge of posyandu cadres about hypertension and better nutrition so that early prevention can be carried out. The method of activity carried out is by providing outreach and education about preventing overnutrition and hypertension with a healthy lifestyle. This activity was carried out in 2 villages, namely in Bolon Village and Baturan Village, Colomadu District, Karanganyar Regency. This activity was attended by posyandu cadres in the 2 villages. This activity was carried out in conjunction with routine meetings of posyandu cadres in Bolon Village and Baturan Village. In Bol on Village, counseling was carried out on preventing overnutrition with balanced nutrition, which was carried out using the FGD (Focus Group Discussion) method, while in Baturan Village it was carried out in conjunction with a meeting of village posyandu cadres at Siaga Sejahtera Sejahtera (DS3). The cadres were very enthusiastic in participating in the FGD and also asked questions about the material presented. This activity can increase understanding about preventing overnutrition and hypertension. It is hoped that this activity can be passed on to the community in a sustainable manner from cadres to the community.
