This study aims to analyze the effect of Current Ratio (CR), Return on Equity (ROE), Earnings Per Share (EPS), and Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) on stock prices. The sample size for this study was four technology companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange between 2015 and 2023, using a purposive sampling method. The method used in this study was multiple linear regression, involving classical assumption tests, followed by partial significance testing using the t-test, and to determine the effect simultaneously, the f-test was used with a significance level of 5%. The results showed that partially, CR and ROE had a significant negative effect, EPS had a significant positive effect, and DER had no significant effect on stock prices. Simultaneously, CR, ROE, EPS, and DER had an effect on stock prices. The adjusted R-squared value in this study was 0.388, indicating that the independent variables explained 38.8% of the dependent variable, while the remaining 61.2% was explained by other independentvariables outside the model.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to determine and analyze (1) the effect of Current Ratio (CR) on Stock Prices, (2) the effect of Net Profit Margin (NPM) on Stock Prices, (3) the effect of Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) on Stock Prices, ( 4) the effect of Earning Per Share (EPS) on Stock Prices, (5) the effect of Current Ratio (CR), Net Profit Margin (NPM), Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) and Earning Per Share (EPS) on Stock Prices. The data used in this study were obtained from the quarterly Published Financial Reports of PT. Japfa Comfeed Indonesia Tbk period 2014 – 2020. The results showed that partially the DER variable has a significant effect on stock prices. While the CR, NPM and EPS variables have no significant effect on stock prices. Simultaneously the variables CR, NPM, DER, and EPS affect stock prices. The adjusted R-squared value in this study is 0.478, which means that the ability of the independent variable to explain the variation in the dependent variable is 47.8%, while the remaining 52.2% is explained by other independent variables outside the model.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of the variables Current Ratio, Debt to Equity Ratio, and Return on Assets on stock prices. The method used in this research is multiple linear regression involving classical assumption tests, and continuing partial tests and simultaneous tests. From the third variable, it is explained that the CR and ROA variables have a significant influence on share prices. The DER variable does not have a significant influence on stock prices. And the predictive ability of the third independent variable on Stock Prices obtained by Adjusted R Square is 53.5% while the remaining 46.5% is influenced by other variables such as ROE, ROI, PER, PBV, NPM and inflation rate.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the Liquidity Ratio variable projected with the Current Ratio (CR), the Solvency Ratio variable projected with the Debt To Equity Ratio (DER), the Profitability Ratio variable projected with Return On Assets (ROA) and the Growth Ratio variable projected with the Price Earning Ratio (PER) to stock prices. The method used in this study is multiple linear regression, involving the classical assumption test, followed by partial significance by using the T-test hypothesis test. The results showed that of the four independent variables analyzed, Current Ratio (CR) and Price Earning Ratio (PER) did not have a significant effect on stock prices. Meanwhile, the Debt To Equity Ratio (DER) and Return On Assets (ROA) variables have a significant influence on stock prices. The projection ability of the four independent variables on stock prices is 49.4% which is shown by the amount of adjusted R2, the remaining 50.6% is explained by other variables outside the research model such as ROE, NPM, PBV, EPS.
