Abstract

The digital transformation in education has accelerated the use of online learning platforms such as Ruangguru. However, the quality of the user interface (UI) plays a crucial role in determining user comfort and application effectiveness. This study aims to evaluate and improve the interface design of the Ruangguru application by applying the System Usability Scale (SUS) method and the User-Centered Design (UCD) approach. SUS was used to measure usability based on user perceptions, while UCD guided the redesign process to align with the needs and characteristics of users from elementary, junior high, and senior high school levels. Initial testing showed an average SUS score of 35, which falls into the Not Acceptable category. After redesigning the interface using UCD principles, the follow-up test showed an improved SUS score of 57, categorized as Marginal Usability. This increase reflects a notable improvement in user experience, although it has not yet reached the optimal level. Therefore, the implementation of SUS and UCD proved effective in identifying design issues and offering solutions tailored to user needs. The findings provide a solid foundation for further development of more user-friendly and inclusive digital learning platforms.

Abstract

PT Telkom Indonesia Cabang Lhokseumawe dengan tujuan merancang dan mengembangkan sebuah sistem web assessment sebagai media promosi digital layanan IndiBiz. Sistem ini dirancang untuk membantu calon pengguna layanan IndiBiz, khususnya pelaku UMKM, dalam menemukan rekomendasi layanan digital yang sesuai berdasarkan sektor bisnis mereka. Web assessment ini mengintegrasikan fitur kuis interaktif, hasil rekomendasi layanan otomatis, serta formulir registrasi yang dapat diisi berdasarkan hasil kuis atau secara mandiri. Metodologi pengembangan sistem menggunakan model Waterfall, yang mencakup tahapan analisis kebutuhan, desain, implementasi, pengujian, dan pemeliharaan. Dalam sistem ini terdapat dua aktor utama, yaitu pengunjung/calon pengguna dan admin. Pengguna dapat mengikuti kuis untuk mendapatkan rekomendasi layanan dan langsung mendaftar, sementara admin dapat mengelola data pengguna serta hasil kuis melalui dashboard khusus. Hasil implementasi menunjukkan bahwa sistem mampu berfungsi sesuai kebutuhan dan berjalan dengan baik berdasarkan pengujian yang dilakukan. Sistem ini tidak hanya mendukung promosi layanan IndiBiz secara digital, tetapi juga memberikan nilai tambah berupa otomatisasi analisis kebutuhan pelanggan secara real-time. Dengan adanya platform ini, diharapkan proses pemasaran dan akuisisi pelanggan di Telkom Lhokseumawe menjadi lebih efektif, efisien, dan berbasis data.

Abstract

Determining strategic warehouse locations is complex because it involves various criteria that are often conflicting, such as cost, ease of access, capacity, and operational risk. This study aims to evaluate a robust model in a Decision Support System (DSS) for warehouse selection using a Multi-Criteria Decision Making (MCDM) approach. The applied methodology combines several MCDM techniques, namely the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) to determine the criteria weights and the Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) to rank alternatives. In addition, a sensitivity analysis is used to test the level of stability and resilience of the model to changes in criteria weights. The results show that the developed model is able to produce stable and responsive recommendations to variations in decision parameters. The sensitivity analysis also reveals that several criteria have a significant influence on the final result, thus requiring more attention in the weighting process.
