Abstract

Inovasi dalam pembentukan media pembelajaran menjadi salah satu prioritas utama sebagai bentuk upaya peningkatan kualitas pendidikan di berbagai lingkup pendidikan, baik lembaga formal, informal, maupun non formal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan proses media pembelajaran sejarah melalui permainan ular tangga sandi di Museum Sandi melalui proses perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan desain penelitian menggunakan pendekatan studi kasus. Partisipan penelitian ini adalah seorang Edukator Museum, Mentor Junior Edukator Museum Sandi MSIB Batch 6, dua orang peserta magang Junior Edukator Museum Sandi MSIB Batch 6, dan tiga orang pengunjung Museum. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan metode wawancara, dokumentasi, dan observasi. Teknik keabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi teknik dan sumber. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Proses perencanaan dilakukan dengan menetapkan tujuan pembelajaran, sumber atau bahan ajar, metode pembelajaran, media pembelajaran, dan merancang penilaian hasil belajar; (2) Pelaksanaan media pembelajaran melalui permainan ular tangga diawali dengan pemberian edukasi terlebih dahulu, dilanjutkan dengan kegiatan kunjungan museum dan diakhiri pengunjung dapat bermain ular tangga sandi sebelum atau sesudah berkunjung ke Museum. (3) Evaluasi yang digunakan adalah evaluasi formatif dengan ketercapaian aspek yang dinilai yaitu kemampuan penguasaan pemahaman materi dan aspek komunikasi dalam menjawab pertanyaan saat permainan. Kontribusi dari penelitian ini adalah diharapkan dapat menjadi referensi dalam mengembangkan media pembelajaran berbasis game dalam konteks pendidikan.

Abstract

The development of tourism villages has become a key strategy in Indonesia’s rural development to support economic growth, cultural preservation, and environmental sustainability in line with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). However, many tourism villages still face challenges in applying sustainable tourism principles, especially those with limited institutional capacity and governance. Pasar Sawahan tourism in Kalongan Village is a community-based destination with strong local wisdom but still faces challenges in infrastructure, environmental management, and governance. Previous studies tend to focus on tourism villages in general, while limited research examines sustainability in traditional community-based tourism markets. This study aims to analyze the implementation of sustainable tourism principles and identify key challenges in Pasar Sawahan. Using a qualitative phenomenological approach, data were collected from eight participants through interviews, observation, and documentation, and analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model. The results show sustainability efforts through community participation, MSME empowerment, cultural preservation, and environmental programs, although challenges remain in institutional strengthening, digital promotion, and youth involvement.

Abstract

Banana stem waste is one of the agricultural wastes commonly found in rural areas, but it has not been optimally utilized by the community. Most banana leaves are still considered as agricultural waste with no economic value. This Community Service activity aims to empower the SEPATAH KATA Community through handicraft training based on the utilization of banana stem waste in order to improve the community's skills, environmental awareness, and economic independence. The activity was carried out using an educational approach to increase knowledge, a persuasive approach to foster motivation and environmental awareness, and a participatory approach through hands-on practice, with reference to the principles of Participatory Action Research. The results of the activity showed an increase in participants' understanding and skills in processing banana stem waste into handicraft products, particularly bags. Additionally, participants began to realize that banana stem waste has economic value and potential to be developed as a business. This activity contributed to strengthening community capacity and encouraging the sustainable use of local resources to meet needs.
