Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the implementation of digital marketing strategies and pricing management to strengthen consumer loyalty in startup businesses. The background of this study is based on the increasing use of the internet and social media as promotional tools that are not being maximized by startup businesses. The study uses a qualitative descriptive approach with data collection methods through observation, interviews, and documentation of startup business actors. The results show that the use of integrated digital marketing and price optimization through behavioral economics on startup business platforms such as Shopee and Blibli has a positive impact on increasing consumer loyalty. The novelty of this study lies in the integrative approach that combines behavioral psychology-based pricing strategies with digital marketing techniques to build consumer loyalty among startuppreneurs. This approach has not been widely explored in the context of startups in developing countries, particularly Indonesia, thus offering a new perspective relevant to sustainable digital business models.

Abstract

The lack of understanding of Sharia muamalah principles in household financial management remains a problem in rural communities, including mothers of the majelis taklim in Pekan Sawah Village, Sei Bingai Subdistrict, Langkat Regency. This condition often leads communities into non-Sharia economic practices that are detrimental. This community service program aimed to improve Sharia economic literacy through the Community-Based Research (CBR) and Service Learning approaches. The implementation stages included needs observation, module development, interactive seminars, financial management simulations, evaluation, and follow-up through a WhatsApp group. The results showed a significant increase in participants’ understanding, as indicated by the pre-test score of 30% rising to 80% in the post-test out of 45 participants who attended. Moreover, participants became more skilled in preparing household budgets, managing cash flow, and were more motivated to utilize Sharia financial services and develop small-scale businesses. Post-activity discussions emphasized that majelis taklim play a strategic role not only as a forum for spiritual development but also as a basis for family economic empowerment. Thus, Sharia economic literacy programs based on participatory and applicative approaches proved effective in enhancing the capacity of housewives toward independent, prosperous families in accordance with Sharia principles.ABSTRAKRendahnya pemahaman prinsip muamalah syariah dalam pengelolaan keuangan rumah tangga masih menjadi persoalan bagi masyarakat pedesaan, termasuk ibu-ibu majelis taklim di Desa Pekan Sawah, Kecamatan Sei Bingai, Kabupaten Langkat.
