Abstract

The One Family One Scholar (SKSS) Scholarship Program managed by the National Zakat Agency (BAZNAS) of Ogan Komering Ulu (OKU) Regency is an effective implementation of professional zakat management that aims to improve access and quality of education for students from underprivileged families. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method to analyze the distribution mechanism of professional zakat funds in the SKSS program and its effectiveness in supporting education in OKU. The results show that zakat management is carried out professionally and transparently with strict recipient selection and based on field surveys, supported by coordination between provincial and district zakat institutions and partnerships with educational institutions such as Baturaja University. Zakat funds are distributed in the form of education costs and motivational coaching that have a positive impact on the academic achievement and social readiness of recipients. Regular monitoring and evaluation ensure the sustainability of the program that meets the needs of mustahik. The BAZNAS OKU SKSS program successfully integrates the principles of social justice, managerial efficiency, and empowerment of sustainable education, becoming a replicable zakat management model to strengthen the welfare of the community through education.

Abstract

Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM) merupakan sektor yang memiliki kontribusi besar terhadap perekonomian Indonesia, namun masih menghadapi tantangan dalam pengelolaan operasional akibat keterbatasan literasi digital dan pencatatan yang belum terstruktur. Transformasi digital mendorong pelaku UMKM untuk memanfaatkan Sistem Informasi Manajemen (SIM) guna meningkatkan efisiensi dan daya saing usaha. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kontribusi SIM terhadap peningkatan efisiensi operasional UMKM di era digital melalui pendekatan studi literatur. Data dikumpulkan dari artikel ilmiah nasional dan internasional dalam rentang publikasi 2019–2025 yang relevan dengan topik penelitian. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan SIM secara konsisten berkontribusi pada peningkatan efisiensi operasional melalui percepatan proses administrasi, pengurangan kesalahan pencatatan manual, integrasi data antarfungsi bisnis, dan penyediaan informasi real time yang mendukung pengambilan keputusan berbasis data. Selain itu, sistem informasi berbasis manajemen terbukti meningkatkan produktivitas, menekan biaya operasional, serta memperkuat daya saing usaha dalam ekosistem bisnis digital. Namun demikian, keberhasilan implementasinya dipengaruhi oleh faktor kesiapan sumber daya manusia, literasi digital, komitmen manajemen, dan ketersediaan infrastruktur teknologi. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa SIM memiliki peran strategis dalam mendukung efisiensi operasional UMKM, namun implementasinya memerlukan pendekatan holistik serta dukungan berkelanjutan agar manfaat optimal dapat tercapai
