Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the development of watermelon farming, to determine the relationship of the characteristics of watermelon farmers to farm income.This research was conducted in the Sugih Waras Village Muara Sugihan District Banyuasin Regency of March until the month of May 2015. The method used was a survey, the data collected is of primary data and secondary data that has to do with the problems and objectives of this study. While the sampling method used is the method by farmers census respondents as many as 16 people. tabulation processing, while for calculating income calculation preceded reception and production costs, then using Spearman rank correlation to determine the relationship characteristics of watermelon farmers and farm income.The survey results revealed that within three (3) years of the last developments of watermelon farm in the Sugih Waras village Muara Sugihan District Banyuasin Regency always increased and relationships farmer characteristics (age, education and experience of farming) shows the positif relationship and income.

Abstract

Study of Selling Technique of Rubber Seed and Profit Analyze in Langkan Village, Banyuasin III Subdistrict, Banyuasin Regency. The aim of this research is to describe about the selling technique of rubber seed in Langkan village, Banyuasin III subdistrict, Banyuasin regency. Analyzing the profit rate of rubber seed in Langkan village, Banyuasin III subdistrict, Banyuasin regency. Besides, this research has a benefit for the researcher in adding a knowledge and insight, giving an overview about the selling technique ofrubber seed, becoming a consideration and literature for the next researcher. The applied methods is a survey method and the applied sampling method in this research is a purposive method. In this research, the sample is taken amount to 16 cultivating farmers of 30 populations that the farmers who cultivate the rubber seed with land area of 0,5 – 2 Ha. The reason to take 16 farmers as sample is the amount of land area of the farmers as sample wider than the land of other farmers, while the data colleting method is an interviewmethod and the observation uses questionnaire to the farmers, the applied processing method is a approach of qualitative descriptive analysis and descriptive analysis with a mathematic approach. The result of this research indicates that the selling technique of rubber seed is the rubber seed in form ready to sell, with one way is a direct selling to CV. Bernas Noersery in Langkan village. While the profit rate that was obtained by the cultivating farmers in 2014 is 9,82/year at the price of rubber seed Rp. 3.500/polybag with a sellingvolume amount to 467.320 polybags of rubber seed.

Abstract

Analysis Comparison Irigation Rice Of Earnings SRI Methode (intensification rice of system) and conventional methode In Jayamulya Semendawai Suku III Ogan Komering Ulu Timur Regency. This Research aim to know how big production cost of method rice field paddy conducting of SRI and to know difference of earnings between farmer of method paddy of SRI with conventional method paddy. This research is executed by in Jayamulya Semendawai Suku III Ogan Komering Ulu Timur in June up to August 2016. Research method the used ismethod of survey. Method withdrawal of example of the used is laminated random method do not be proportional (Disproportionate Stratified Random Sampling). Method data collecting is with observation method and direct interview with farmer of example of using statement list which have been prepared previously and assisted with obtained data of existing institutes of its relation with research. Data-Processing ode and used data analysis that is descriptive and quantitative descriptive method qualitative to reply first problems, and to reply second problem that is using earnings formula, is here in after conducted by examination with Test of Rangking Wilcoxon. Result of research indicate that Production Cost farmer paddy using method of SRI differ reality compared to to use conventional method in Jayamulya Semendawai Suku III Ogan Komering Ulu Timur t and Earnings of farmer of paddy using method of SRI differ reality of farmer of paddy using conventional method of hectare per season plant.

Abstract

ABSTRACT The objectives of this study were to find out the influence of, export tax, U.S dollar exchange rate and cocoa price export toward the volume of cocoa export, to know the influence of the domestic labor wage and the land width the production cocoa width and to know the trend of cocoa export price in Indonesia. This study has been conducted in Central Bureau of Statistics of South Sumatera Province and related institution. The time for collecting the data starting from April – June 2017.This study used secondary data method, the method for collecting the data was time series secondary method. The technique for analyzing the data to know the factors that influence the export volume and production cocoa width was multiple regression. To analyze the trend of chocolate export price for the next ten years, this study used simple linear analysis.The findings showed that the variable of export tax, U.S dollar exchange and export cocoa price were significantly influential eachother toward the cocoa export volume, partially the the export tax and U.S dollar exchange had significant effect while the export cocoa price had non-significant effect. Therefore, the domestic labor wage and the land width all influential significantly toward the production cocoa width, partially the domestic labor wage was influenced significantly toward the production cocoa width while the land was influenced insignificantly toward the production cocoa width. The findings also showed that the cost of cocoa export in 2016-2025 would be predicted to always increase.

Abstract

This study aims to determine how agribusiness Bogor taro plant in the village of Taman Sari Taman Sari subdistrict, Bogor Regency of West Java. And to find out how much taro farm income Bogor sub-district in the village of Taman Sari Taman Sari Bogor West Java. This research was conducted by taking primary data on taro plants agribusiness Bogor village of Taman Sari Taman Sari subdistrict, Bogor regency of West Java that was conducted in December 2013 through January 2014 The purpose of this study was to determine how the taro crop agribusiness Bogor Park Village Sari Taman Sari subdistrict, Bogor regency of West Java. And to find out how much taro farm income Bogor sub-district in the village of Taman Sari Taman Sari Bogor West Java. The research method used in this study is the survey method. This method is the investigation conducted to obtain the facts of the existing symptoms and seek factual particulars, both on social institutions, economics or politics of a group or a region. The results of this study indicate that the taro plant Agribusiness conducted by taro farmers include: Subsystem provision of means of production, farming Subsystem and Subsystem marketing. Taro plant sales activities conducted by taro farmers is by way of sale to Bogor and Taman Sari market the way consumers come directly to localized business, and the income derived from farming taro farmers per cropping season is Rp. 11.507.656,26.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis study aims to find out the marketing channel of tiger shrimp from the farmers to the final consumer and efficient marketing of tiger shrimp in Sungai Lumpur village Regency Cengal District Ogan Komering Ilir. This research was conducted in Sungai Lumpur village Regency cengal District Ogan Komering Ilir from May-Juli 2017. The method used in this research is survey method, for sampling method used simple random sampling method. To collect the data in this research used observation and interview methods by using a quisionary aids that have been prepared previously. Data processing is done using kualitatif and kuantitatif analysis. The result of this research indicates there are three marketing channels of tiger shrimp in Sungai Lumpur village Regency Cengal District Ogan Komering Ilir and the three marketing channels are efficient.

Abstract

ABSTRACT             This study aimed to find out  how domestic coffee prices factors, the of domestic rubber prices, and interest rates affecting the area of rubber Pagar Alam, to find out how rainfall, labor wage rate factor, and the total area of rubber affects the production of rubber in Pagar Alam . This research has been carried out by taking a secondary data about the rubber in Pagar Alam. Time data collection was conducted in May - July 2012.       The research method used in this research secondary data method, data collection methods used are secondary data (time series). Processing and data analysis methods affect the total area and production of  Pagar Alam rubber, Multiple linear regression analysis is used. The results showed that the variables of domestic rubber prices, the domestic coffee prices, interest rates together - the same significant effect on the total area of the City Pagar Alam rubber. Partially variable domestic coffee price and domestic rubber price has a significant influence on the total area of Pagar Alam rubber. As for the domestic rubber prices variables are non-significant effect on the total area of  Pagar Alam rubber. As for the variable rainfall, labor wage rates, the area under rubber in common - each had a significant influence on rubber production variables Pagar Alam. Partial variable wage labor rates and area under rubber hase a significant influence the production of Pagar Alam rubber. As for the rainfall variable are non significant effect on the production of Pagar Alam rubber.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis study aims to determine To analyze the effect and efficiency of the use of factors of production such as land, labor, seed, fertilizer Urea, SP36, KCl fertilizers and herbicides Gramaxone on hybrid corn production. in the Sugih Waras village Muara Sugihan District Banyuasin Regency. The method used is the method of a survey of corn growers in the Sugih Waras village Muara Sugihan District Banyuasin Regency. Sampling method is done using a random method (simple random sampling) using the formula Slovin. The number of members of the population of hybrid corn farmer in the village of 168 on the Sugih Waras then the amount calculated into the formula Slovin with a confidence level of 85%, 85% confident that the true and the research results with significance level of 0.15, then a sample of the entire population of hybrid maize farmers which can be taken are 35 farmers. Data processing method is the method of interview data collected in this study included primary data and secondary data. Primary data obtained from respondents through direct interviews and field observations accompanied by a list of questions has been provided while secondary data obtained from the competent institutions or agencies associated with this research. Data were processed using mathematical models and presented in tabular form. The results showed that the factors of production labor, urea, fertilizers and herbicides Gramaxone SP36 no significant effect on the production of hybrid corn. While the seeds, area of land and fertilizer KCl significant effect on the production of hybrid corn. Based on the level of inefficiency of production factors such as labor, land, urea and herbicides Gramaxone inefficient that need to be reduced in order to achieve an efficient level. While the factors of production seed, fertilizer KCl, and SP36 has not been so efficient that need to be added to reach the level of inefficiency.

Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini  bertujuan untuk mengetahui prospek ekspor kulit kayu manis di Indonesia dan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang melatarbelakangi pengolahan sirup kayu manis di Kecamatan Gunung Kerinci Kabupaten Kerinci Propinsi Jambi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode data  sekunder dan metode survei.  Metode penarikan contoh yang digunakan metode acak sederhana (simple random sampling).  Sedangkan  data yang dikumpulkan  terdiri dari data primer dan data sekunder, pengumpulan data primer dilakukan dengan wawancara langsung terhadap  responden. Sedangkan data sekunder berasal dari Biro Pusat Statistik  adapun  data ekspor yang diambil  dari tahun 2000 sampai dengan tahun 2008 serta lembaga-lembaga yang berhubungan dengan penelitian ini. Adapun hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa prospek ekspor kayu manis di Indonesia menunjukkan peningkatan yang cukup tajam pada beberapa tahun terakhir sementara faktor yang melatar belakangi pengolahan sirup kayu manis yaitu banyaknya potensi kulit kayu manis di daerah Kerinci, membuka lapangan kerja baru,  dan adanya nilai tambah dari segi ekonomi.
