<![CDATA[Perkembangan karakteristik generasi terus berubah akibat dinamika sosial dan teknologi menuntut adanya ruang yang fleksibel. Surabaya, sebagai salah satu kota kreatif dengan potensi tinggi di sektor industri kreatif belum memiliki wadah terpusat yang secara khusus mendukung aktivitas kreatif lintas generasi. Oleh karena itu, perancangan Creative Hub berbasis flexibility space ini dilakukan sebagai upaya menjawab kebutuhan ruang yang mampu mengakomodasi aktivitas kerja, kolaborasi, dan pengembangan secara terpadu. Tujuan perancangan ini adalah menciptakan ruang multifungsi yang fleksibel dengan mempertimbangkan preferensi dan gaya kerja antar generasi, serta mendukung pertumbuhan komunitas industri kreatif di Surabaya. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah flexibility space dengan metode desain pragmatis berbasis predictive modelling yang memfokuskan pada kemampuan ruang untuk beradaptasi secara fisik maupun fungsional terhadap kebutuhan pengguna. Solusi utama dalam perancangan mencakup integrasi ruang dalam dan luar, penggunaan partisi fleksibel, elemen modular, serta pengolahan massa bangunan yang responsif terhadap tapak. Hasil perancangan menunjukkan penerapan prinsip fleksibilitas dalam skala arsitektural mampu menciptakan ruang adaptif dan produktif serta menjawab tantangan perubahan zaman. Kesimpulan dari perancangan ini menegaskan bahwa Creative Hub yang dirancang secara fleksibel menjadi katalisator pertumbuhan industri kreatif, memperkuat kolaborasi antar sektor, serta berkontribusi pada penguatan identitas Surabaya sebagai kota inovatif . Surabaya, as one of the creative cities with high potential in the creative industry sector, does not yet have a centralized platform that specifically supports cross- generational creative activities. Therefore, the design of Creative Hub based on flexibility space is carried out as an effort to answer the need for space that is able to accommodate work activities, collaboration, and development in an integrated manner. The purpose of this design is to create a flexible multifunctional space by considering preferences and work styles between generations, as well as supporting the growth of the creative industry community in Surabaya. The approach used is flexibility space with a pragmatic design method based on predictive modeling that focuses on the ability of space to adapt physically and functionally to user needs. The main solutions in the design include the integration of indoor and outdoor spaces, the use of flexible partitions, modular elements, and the processing of building masses that are responsive to the site. The design results show that the application of the principle of flexibility on an architectural scale is able to create adaptive and productive spaces and answer the challenges of changing times. The conclusion of this design confirms that a flexibly designed Creative Hub catalyzes the growth of the creative industry, strengthens collaboration between sectors, and becomes a hub for the creative industry.
