Abstract

Steganography is a method in network security systems that functions to hide confidential information by inserting it into other media without changing the authenticity of the information. One of the steganography media is images. Image steganography has two domains: spatial and frequency. The spatial domain works on the pixels of an image, and the frequency domain works on the image frequency. Spatial image steganography is said to be good if the level of stego-image damage is very small. There are several intermediate methods in spatial steganography, namely: LSB, PVD, GLM, EBE, RPE, and others. However, there are two most popular methods, namely LSB (Least Significant Bit) and PVD (Pixel Value Differencing). Therefore, this study aims to test the quality of stego-images produced by these two methods. Testing is carried out using the MSE and PSNR value parameters. A stego-image is considered good when the MSE value is close to 0 and the PSNR value is above 30 dB. From the test data used, this study produced an MSE value of 0.0006 for LSB stego-images and 0.007 for PVD stego-images. The PSNR value was 90 dB for LSB stego-images and 72 dB for PVD stego-images. This study concluded that LSB stego-images have less damage than PVD stego-images, so the researchers recommend using the LSB method in carrying out the steganography process. Abstract

The website is one of the technology platforms that functions as a medium for disseminating information that can be accessed quickly without space and time limitations through the internet network. In its development, the website has penetrated various fields of life, including educational institutions. Websites in educational institutions are utilized effectively and efficiently to widely disseminate educational and institutional information to attract new prospective students who are not physically reached. In Indonesia, there are many educational institutions, including the Ma'arif NU Educational Institution (LP Ma'arif NU) Ponorogo. LP Ma'arif NU Ponorogo has no official website that accommodates information related to institutions, education, and units. Therefore, the purpose of this service is to assist LP Ma'arif NU Ponorogo in optimizing the dissemination of information to the wider community and especially the educational units under its auspices and increasing professionalism as an educational institution by building a website. This service results in the LP Ma'arif NU Ponorogo website with the address https://maarif.nuponorogo.or.id/. The website contains various things, including information about the institution, information related to educational units under its auspices, and other education-related information.

Abstract

Pesan tidak hanya berupa text, namun juga berbentuk gambar. Sebuah pesan gambar terkadang merupakan informasi yang sangat rahasia contohnya gambar informasi barang bukti. Untuk itu dibutuhkan teknik untuk melindungi pesan tersebut agar tidak diketahui oleh pihak lain. Pixel Value Differencing (PVD) merupakan salah satu teknik penyisipan pesan ke dalam data digital seperti gambar (citra) dengan kelebihan kapasitas penampung yang besar. PVD menghitung selisih nilai piksel dengan cara membagi piksel-piksel citra menjadi blok-blok yang terdiri dari dua buah piksel yang posisinya berdekatan yang digunakan sebagai tempat penyisipan pesan. Untuk meningkatkan keamanan, maka dilakukan enksripsi pada pesan citra agar konstruksi citra menjadi tidak beraturan sehingga tidak mudah untuk diketahui dan dimanipulasi oleh pihak lain. Paper ini akan menggabungkan steganografi PVD dan metode enskripsi Arnold Cap Map (ACM). Untuk mengetahui kualitas citra yang tersisipi pesan, maka dilakukan evaluasi kualitas citra dengan perhitungan nilai Mean Square Error (MSE) dan Peak Signal to Noise Ratio (PSNR). Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa citra dengan resolusi 512x512 piksel menghasilkan nilai MSE : 0.36311 dan PSNR (db): 57.3356, sedangkan citra dengan resolusi 256x256 piksel menghasilkan nilai MSE : 11.1786 dan PSNR(db) : 42.4521.
