Abstract

Cisarua District, situated on the Lembang Fault line, has a high risk due to its proximity to densely populated settlements and its potential for large-magnitude earthquakes. This study aims to analyze the deformation of the Lembang Fault in Cisarua District from 2014 to 2024 using Sentinel-1A and TerraSAR-X imagery data, as well as Digital Terrain Model (DTM) analysis from an Unmanned Aerial Vehicle, employing the high-resolution Differential Interferometric SAR (DInSAR) method. The deformation levels vary from low to high, with a dominance of moderate deformation levels. High deformation was identified on the north and northeast sides, adjacent to the active tectonic zone. The DTM analysis revealed a steep topographic gradient with an elevation of 975.9–1395 masl. The combination of deformation and steep topography indicates a significant risk of landslides. The results of this study are expected to assist in disaster mitigation in the Cisarua District due to the deformation of the Lembang Fault.

Abstract

Aerosols are small particles in the atmosphere that affect the climate through direct and indirect mechanisms. Aerosols can influence the climate and play a role in cloud formation and precipitation. This study aims to analyze the relationship between seasonal changes and aerosol concentrations, and to identify parameters that influence aerosol concentrations in Java Island using remote sensing. The method used in this study is the Pearson correlation test to determine the relationship between seasonal changes and aerosol concentrations in the atmosphere. The results show that there is a relationship between Aerosol Optical Depth (AOD) and rainfall with a correlation value (R) of 0.8. This result indicates a significant relationship between the two variables. Meanwhile, the analysis results between Aerosol Optical Depth (AOD) and wind speed show a correlation value (R) of 0.05. This result indicates that the relationship between Aerosol Optical Depth (AOD) and wind speed is very weak between the two variables.

Abstract

Kata kunci: Sentinel, TSS,, Alih fungsi lahan, TDSABSTRACTLand use conversion is one of the causes of increased water turbidity in the Situ Cileunca area within the Cisangkuy Watershed. This study aims to analyze the relationship between land use dynamics and water turbidity using Sentinel-2 imagery and comparison with interpolated TDS data. Water turbidity is estimated through TSS derived from image processing and TDS interpolation. Land use mapping is conducted using a visual classification method tested with the kappa index, achieving an accuracy of 91.44%. The processed land use and TSS data are analyzed using Pearson correlation to determine their influence. The Pearson correlation test shows that cropland (R = -0.87) and forest (R = -0.66) contribute to decreasing TSS, while settlements (R = 0.53) are positively correlated with increased turbidity. This study provides novelty in depicting the distribution of dissolved solids through TS in Situ Cileunca. These findings indicate that increasing settlements reduce water quality and can support decision-making in spatial planning and environmental management. Keywords: Sentinel, TSS,, Land use change, TDS
