Abstract

Abstract- Local wisdom is a cultural heritage of the local area that has existed for a long time and has proven its ability to survive today. In learning, local wisdom can be used as a value-based learning resource. Social studies subjects have the aim of making students good citizens in accordance with the characteristics of values-based education. This study aims to (1) find out how the Budi-Daya hermitage values practice the values of local wisdom, (2) identify the local wisdom values of pencak silat in the Budi-Daya hermitage that can be developed as a social science learning resource, and (3) analyze how to use the values the value of the local wisdom of pencak silat in the Budi-Daya hermitage as a social science learning resource. This research uses descriptive narrative method. The results showed that (1) in practicing the values of local wisdom, the Budi-Baya hermitage practiced it directly in the community by showing good identity and polite language speech and always holding events related to the values of local wisdom values. (2) ) the values of local wisdom that can be developed in social studies learning are religious values, mutual cooperation values, and aesthetic values, (3) local wisdom values of pencak silat can be used as a source of social studies learning because they contain elements as learning resources, namely messages, people, materials , tools, procedures, environment, and management.

Abstract

This research is a quantitative study on PD Raharja Cimahi that seeks to analyze how location and promotion influence judgments regarding the purchase of a home, as well as the extent to which these factors have an impact. The sample for this investigation consisted of 68 participants who were selected through the process of probability sampling using the technique of multiple linear regression analysis. Based on the study findings that the value of R2 is 0.535, which is equivalent to 53.5%, suggests that the findings of this study reveal the influence of location on consumer purchasing decisions. A simultaneous influence on customer purchasing decisions of 0.463%, or 46.3%, is exerted through promotion. The results of the tests on the hypotheses suggest that the elements of location and promotion have a positive impact on the decisions on which products to purchase. The value of R^2, which is 0.535%, reflects this point of view accurately. With a value of R = 20.535, it is possible to deduce that the independent elements in this investigation, namely location and promotion, have an influence on consumer spending decisions that is equivalent to 53.5%. The factors of location and promotion have a large influence on purchase decisions, with an effect size of 53.5%. Meanwhile, the remaining influence comes from factors that were not investigated in this study.

Abstract

Background: The global infant mortality rate remains a significant concern, with a rate of 28.2 per 1,000 live births recorded in 2019. In Indonesia, the infant mortality rate reached 24 per 1,000 live births in 2022, and efforts to reduce this include immunization, as the World Health Organization (WHO) reports that around 1.5 million children die annually from preventable diseases, including a rising 15% mortality rate due to diphtheria in Indonesia in 2020. Purpose: To analyze the relationship between maternal knowledge and timeliness of basic immunization in infants aged 0-12 months. Methods: This study employs a quantitative research method with a correlational descriptive design and a cross-sectional approach, using purposive sampling to select a sample of 86 respondents. Data was collected through maternal knowledge questionnaires and observation sheets from mother and child notebooks, and the analysis was conducted using the Spearman test. Results: The study found that the majority of mothers, 40 respondents (46.5%), had good knowledge about basic immunization, followed by 30 respondents (34.9%) with adequate knowledge, and 16 respondents (18.6%) with insufficient knowledge. At Puskesmas Rawalele, almost all basic immunizations for infants aged 0-12 months were administered on time (76.7%), and there was a significant relationship between maternal knowledge and the timeliness of basic immunization, with a p-value of < 0.001. Conclusion: Maternal knowledge about basic immunization plays a crucial role in ensuring the timely administration of vaccines to infants. Consequently, public health initiatives focusing on increasing awareness and education about immunization among mothers could be instrumental in achieving higher compliance and better health outcomes for infants.

Abstract

Kupang Regency has significant wind energy potential, offering opportunities for wind farm development to address electricity shortages and support the transition to green energy. This study aims to analyze the wind energy potential in Kupang Regency for wind farm development. The weighted overlay method used integrates various criteria to determine the feasibility of recommended locations. Parameters such as wind speed, elevation, and land use were processed using Geographic Information Systems (GIS) technology. The results indicate that the southern and northern regions of Kupang Regency are optimal for wind farm development, considering high wind speeds (6 m/s), suitable land use (shrublands or sandy areas), and favorable elevation (highlands). The integrated analysis identified moderately potential, potential, and very potential zones covering 108,734.20 ha, 53,391.24 ha, and 7,198.73 ha, respectively. These findings are expected to serve as a reference for effective renewable energy planning and help address the energy crisis in the region.

Abstract

Cisarua District, situated on the Lembang Fault line, has a high risk due to its proximity to densely populated settlements and its potential for large-magnitude earthquakes. This study aims to analyze the deformation of the Lembang Fault in Cisarua District from 2014 to 2024 using Sentinel-1A and TerraSAR-X imagery data, as well as Digital Terrain Model (DTM) analysis from an Unmanned Aerial Vehicle, employing the high-resolution Differential Interferometric SAR (DInSAR) method. The deformation levels vary from low to high, with a dominance of moderate deformation levels. High deformation was identified on the north and northeast sides, adjacent to the active tectonic zone. The DTM analysis revealed a steep topographic gradient with an elevation of 975.9–1395 masl. The combination of deformation and steep topography indicates a significant risk of landslides. The results of this study are expected to assist in disaster mitigation in the Cisarua District due to the deformation of the Lembang Fault.
