Abstract

Latar Belakang : Konjungtivitis vernal merupakan peradangan alergi kronik dan berulang pada konjungtiva, yang lebih sering terjadi pada anak laki-laki usia 5–15 tahun, terutama di daerah tropis. Penyakit ini dipicu oleh paparan alergen seperti debu dan sinar matahari, serta dapat menyebabkan komplikasi pada kornea jika tidak ditangani dengan tepat. Tujuan : Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui karakteristik dan prevalensi konjungtivitis vernal di RSUD Waled tahun 2023. Metode : Penelitian ini merupakan studi deskriptif retrospektif dengan pendekatan kualitatif menggunakan data sekunder dari rekam medis pasien konjungtivitis vernal di RSUD Waled selama tahun 2023. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan total sampling dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 57 pasien. Hasil : Sebagian besar pasien berasal dari kelompok usia 5–11 tahun (66,7%) dan berjenis kelamin laki-laki (66,7%). Faktor risiko utama adalah paparan debu (61,4%), dengan gejala terbanyak berupa mata merah (20,5%) dan mata gatal (19,3%). Komplikasi paling banyak berupa keratokonjungtivitis vernal (12,3%). Prevalensi kasus yang ditemukan selama satu tahun adalah 65 pasien. Simpulan : Konjungtivitis vernal di RSUD Waled tahun 2023 paling banyak terjadi pada anak laki-laki usia sekolah dasar dengan paparan utama berupa debu dan gejala khas seperti mata merah dan gatal.

Abstract

This article discusses the experiences of woman who are victims of mail-order bride and the identification of protection services for them as a process of recovery from the violence they have experienced. This research was conducted with a descriptive method. The data were taken from literature studies and women who were victims of the practice of mail-order brides themselves. The result of this study indicate that protection service for women who are victims of mail-order brides are the most essential thing as a forum for healing and recovering from the suffering they experience during and after they become mail-order brides. The experiences of women who are victims of mail-order brides cannot be simply removed from women’s minds, so the role of Non-Government Organization (NGO) such as the Indonesian Migrant Workers’ Union (SBMI) is very helpful for women who are victims of mail-order brides who have returned and are given special services until they feel they can live their lives again. This research can contribute to society, especially knowledge related to the phenomenon of mail-order bride practices and patterns and forms of protection services for women victims of mail-order brides.
