Abstract

The application of pesticides plays a crucial role in enhancing agricultural productivity, with Dharmabas 500 EC, a carbamate insecticide produced by PT Perusahaan Perdagangan Indonesia (PPI), being effective in controlling pests on rice, chili, onion, and sugarcane crops. Despite being available in the market for over three decades, the product faces significant competition, shifting consumer preferences, and fluctuating sales. This study aims to examine the impact of marketing strategies on purchase intention and customer satisfaction, employing a quantitative approach using Structural Equation Modeling with Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) techniques, based on data from 88 respondents. The findings reveal that marketing strategies have a significant effect on both purchase intention (path coefficient = 0.677) and customer satisfaction (path coefficient = 0.324), with purchase intention exerting a strong influence on customer satisfaction (path coefficient = 0.734). Furthermore, marketing strategies indirectly affect customer satisfaction through purchase intention (path coefficient = 0.497). These results suggest that well-executed marketing strategies, such as enhancing brand awareness, offering compelling promotions, and ensuring effective communication, can boost both purchase intention and customer satisfaction. To remain competitive in the pesticide market, PT PPI management should focus on strengthening data-driven marketing approaches, expanding digital promotions, and ensuring that their products meet or exceed consumer expectations.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of transactional leadership in mediating the effect of organizational climate on employee performance at the National Awakening Party Faction (FPKB) DPR RI. Transactional leadership is a leadership style that emphasizes the exchange relationship between leaders and subordinates through a system of rewards and punishments. A conducive organizational climate can improve employee motivation and performance, but the role of transactional leadership in this process still needs to be studied further. This study used a quantitative approach with a survey method involving 89 DPR RI FPKB employees as respondents. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) method based on Partial Least Square (PLS). The results showed that organizational climate has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, and transactional leadership partially mediates the relationship. This means that a good organizational climate can improve employee performance, either directly or through transactional leadership. The implication of this research shows that organizations need to create a supportive work environment, as well as apply an effective leadership style in motivating employees. In addition, rewarding and performance-based evaluation systems can be a strategy in increasing employee productivity.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of transformational leadership, organizational commitment, and readiness for change on employee performance, as well as to examine the indirect effects of transformational leadership and organizational commitment through readiness for change on cleaning service employees at the Secretariat General of the Indonesian House of Representatives (DPR RI). The background of this study arises from fluctuations in employee attendance and frequent management changes, accompanied by uncertainties related to employee transfers to the new capital city (IKN), which are suspected to affect work motivation and productivity. The study population consisted of 167 employees, and the sampling method employed was saturated sampling, making the entire population the research respondents. Data analysis was conducted using linear regression with the assistance of SPSS software to obtain accurate and systematic results. The findings indicate that transformational leadership, organizational commitment, and readiness for change significantly influence employee performance. Furthermore, readiness for change was proven to mediate the relationship between transformational leadership and organizational commitment and employee performance, thereby strengthening the role of employee readiness in responding effectively to organizational changes.
