Abstrak Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini dilaksanakan untuk mengatasi permasalahan serangan hama lalat buah (Bactrocera sp.) pada tanaman jeruk yang menjadi komoditas unggulan di Desa Bocek, Kecamatan Karangploso, Kabupaten Malang. Kelompok Tani Tri Rejeki sebagai mitra sasaran memiliki tingkat serangan lalat buah yang cukup tinggi sehingga berdampak pada penurunan kuantitas dan kualitas hasil panen. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan petani dalam mengidentifikasi morfologi, biologi, siklus hidup, dan gejala khas serangan lalat buah, serta memberikan pemahaman mengenai teknik monitoring dan strategi pengendalian berbasis Pengendalian Hama Terpadu (PHT). Kegiatan pelatihan dilaksanakan pada bulan Juli 2025 dengan melibatkan 26 peserta anggota Kelompok Tani Tri Rejeki. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi sosialisasi, penyampaian materi melalui ceramah, diskusi interaktif, praktek identifikasi morfologi, pemasangan Steiner trap dengan atraktan metil eugenol, serta pemeliharaan buah inang terinfestasi. Evaluasi kegiatan dilakukan melalui pre-test dan post-test, yang menunjukkan peningkatan rata-rata pengetahuan peserta sebesar 10.8 angka Hasil ini membuktikan bahwa pendekatan pelatihan berbasis praktik mampu meningkatkan kapasitas petani dalam mengidentifikasi dan memantau populasi lalat buah, sehingga mendukung peningkatan produktivitas jeruk secara berkelanjutan. Abstract This community service activity was conducted to get over the problem of fruit fly (Bactrocera sp.) infestation in citrus, the main horticultural commodity in Bocek Village, Karangploso District, Malang Regency. The Tri Rejeki Farmers’ Group, as the target partner, has experienced a high level of fruit fly attacks, which significantly reduced both the quantity and quality of citrus production. The aim of this program was to improve farmers’ knowledge and skills in identifying the morphology, biology, life cycle, and specific symptoms of fruit fly infestation, as well as to provide understanding of monitoring techniques and Integrated Pest Management (IPM)-based control strategies. The training was conducted in July 2025 and involved 26 participants from the Tri Rejeki Farmers’ Group. The methods included socialization, lectures, interactive discussions, morphological identification practices, installation of Steiner traps with methyl eugenol attractants, and rearing of infested host fruits. Evaluation was carried out through pre-tests and post-tests, which revealed an average increase of 10.8 point in participants’ knowledge. These results demonstrate that practice-based training effectively enhanced farmers’ capacity to identify and monitor fruit fly populations, thereby supporting sustainable improvements in citrus productivity.
