Abstract

Generasi Z menghadapi tantangan dalam menjaga produktivitas dan kesejahteraan di dunia kerja yang dinamis. Untuk itu, penting adanya kesesuaian antara karakteristik individu dengan lingkungan kerja, yang dikenal sebagai Person-Environment Fit (PE Fit), agar tercipta Work-Life Balance (WLB) yang baik. PE Fit mengacu pada kesesuaian nilai, kebutuhan, dan kemampuan individu dengan budaya dan tuntutan organisasi, sedangkan WLB adalah kemampuan menyeimbangkan peran kerja dan kehidupan pribadi. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengkaji pengaruh PE Fit terhadap WLB pada karyawan Generasi Z di Jabodetabek. Dengan metode kuantitatif dan teknik convenience sampling, data dikumpulkan dari 197 responden menggunakan kuesioner online. Hasil menunjukkan pengaruh positif dan signifikan antara PE Fit dan WLB (r = 0.389, p < 0.05). Temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya kesesuaian individu dan lingkungan kerja untuk mencapai keseimbangan hidup yang sehat, khususnya bagi Generasi Z.

Abstract

This study examines the role of work-life balance in employees’ psychological well-being, with job satisfaction as a potential mediating variable. Using a quantitative cross-sectional design, data were collected from 284 active employees through convenience sampling using the Work-Life Balance Scale (WLBS), the Psychological Well-Being Scale (PWB-18), and the Job Satisfaction Measurement: the Alternative Method. Data were analyzed using regression and bootstrapping mediation analysis with PROCESS Hayes Model 4. The results indicate that work-life balance has a significant positive effect on psychological well-being. However, work-life balance does not significantly influence job satisfaction, and job satisfaction does not significantly predict psychological well-being; therefore, job satisfaction does not mediate the relationship between work-life balance and psychological well-being. These findings suggest that employees’ psychological well-being is primarily shaped by the direct effect of work-life balance, highlighting the importance of organizational policies that support work-life balance to promote employee well-being.Top of Form

Abstract

This study analyzes the role of traditional Betawi food in strengthening the national identity of Indonesia through a social and cultural approach. Traditional Betawi food not only fulfills physical needs but also serves as a symbol of identity, solidarity, and the inheritance of national values. This research uses a descriptive qualitative method with a narrative approach based on a literature review. The findings reveal that traditional Betawi food reflects cultural acculturation that embodies the values of togetherness, openness, and mutual cooperation. These dishes carry historical, social, and spiritual meanings that contribute to the formation of collective identity. In addition to being local culturales symbols, traditional Betawi food also functions as an educational tool and instrument of cultural diplomacy. Therefore, its preservation is not only about maintaining regional flavors but also reinforcing awareness of the national values that shape the character of the Indonesian nation. ABSTRAK Penelitian ini menganalisis peran makanan tradisional Betawi dalam memperkuat jati diri bangsa Indonesia melalui pendekatan sosial dan budaya. Makanan tradisional Betawi tidak hanya memenuhi kebutuhan jasmani, tetapi juga berfungsi sebagai simbol identitas, solidaritas, dan warisan nilai kebangsaan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan pendekatan naratif berbasis studi literatur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa makanan tradisional Betawi mencerminkan akulturasi budaya yang menggambarkan nilai kebersamaan, keterbukaan, dan gotong royong. Hidangan-hidangan tersebut mengandung makna historis, sosial, dan spiritual yang berkontribusi pada pembentukan identitas kolektif masyarakat. Selain sebagai simbol budaya lokal, makanan tradisional Betawi juga berfungsi sebagai sarana edukasi dan diplomasi budaya. Oleh karena itu, pelestariannya tidak hanya menjaga cita rasa khas daerah, tetapi juga memperkuat kesadaran terhadap nilai-nilai kebangsaan yang membentuk karakter bangsa Indonesia.
