Abstract

Background: Because of the tremendous progress that has taken place throughout the globe in a number of categories, including as the social, the economic, the educational, and so on, the ties that exist between countries are today usually considered to be in a very favorable state. As a result of these kinds of encounters, there is now a higher requirement for persons to be able to communicate successfully in a minimum of two languages. Aim: The study’s goal is to find out the significance that is placed on being able to successfully communicate in a foreign language, there has been a rise in the use of both classic and modern methods for the teaching of language rely on Technological devices. At this point in time, there is no other degree of technical innovation that can compete with it. Method: Technology's effects on foreign language education were examined through studying technology's damages. Technology in foreign language instruction and its negative impacts were examined. This research was conducted with the intention of bringing to light the possibly negative effects that students who are making an effort to learn a foreign language as a result of utilizing technology may go on to suffer. Findings: The purpose of this article is to reveal how the speed and ease of technology, when used incorrectly, can cost students more time than they intend to spend learning a language. This article's specific goal is to show how something similar may ultimately occur in the actual world.

Abstract

Penggunaan teknologi informasi dalam jaringan internet di kalangan remaja menjadi hal yang sangat krusial dan perlu perhatian lebih saat ini. Menurut data dari kominfo Penggunaan media sosial dan digital menjadi bagian yang menyatu dalam kehidupan sehari-hari anak muda Indonesia. Studi ini menemukan bahwa 98 persen dari anak-anak dan remaja yang disurvei tahu tentang internet dan bahwa 79,5 persen diantaranya adalah pengguna internet. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menyelidiki dampak penggunaan media sosial terhadap kesejahteraan psikologis remaja, dengan fokus pada kecemasan dan depresi. Dalam era digital saat ini, remaja semakin bergantung pada media sosial sebagai sarana komunikasi, interaksi sosial, dan eksplorasi identitas. Namun, terdapat kekhawatiran tentang efek negatif yang mungkin ditimbulkan oleh penggunaan berlebihan atau tidak sehat dari media sosial pada kesejahteraan psikologis remaja. Metode penelitian yaitu menggunakan kualitatif yang digunakan untuk memfasilitasi karakter eksplorasi penelitian. untuk menyelidiki dampak penggunaan media sosial terhadap kesejahteraan psikologis remaja, dengan fokus pada kecemasan dan depresi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media sosial yang berlebihan, eksposur terhadap cyberbullying, dan perbandingan sosial yang sering terjadi di media sosial dapat berkontribusi pada peningkatan kecemasan dan depresi remaja. Selain itu, penelitian ini juga akan membahas faktor-faktor moderasi yang mempengaruhi hubungan antara media sosial dan kesejahteraan psikologis remaja, seperti dukungan sosial offline, regulasi penggunaan media sosial, akan mengeksplorasi bukti-bukti yang ada dan memberikan pemahaman yang lebih baik tentang hubungan antara penggunaan media sosial dan tingkat kecemasan serta depresi pada remaja. Kesimpulannya, penelitian ini memberikan wawasan tentang pentingnya memahami pengaruh media sosial pada kesejahteraan psikologis remaja dan merumuskan implikasi penting untuk pendidikan, pengasuhan, dan intervensi di masa depan.

Abstract

This research examines how Muslim adolescents cope with academic stress through the mediating role of Tawakkal (effortful trust in Allah) and parental religious socialization. Using a qualitative multiple case-research design, data were collected from 15 Muslim adolescents, 10 parents, and 5 school informants in Indonesia through semi-structured interviews, observations, and documents. The results show that adolescents experience academic stress as an educational and moral–spiritual burden arising from heavy workloads, high-stakes examinations, dual religious–general curricula, and strong parental aspirations. Tawakkal functions as a key coping resource: when understood as “maximum effort followed by trust in Allah,” it supports cognitive reappraisal, emotional regulation, and more hopeful interpretations of success and failure. Cross-case analysis reveals three coping profiles anchored, ambivalent, and fragile Tawakkal shaped by the quality of parental religious socialization, particularly the balance between supportive and controlling religious messages. The research concludes that Tawakkal is a psychologically meaningful construct that mediates between family-based religious guidance and adolescents.
