Abstract

Pandemi COVID-19 menjadi Fenomena buruk bagi pariwisata secara global yang menyebabkan sektor perhotelan khususnya di Bali melemah. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis keadaan motivasi kerja dan kinerja karyawan pada masa pandemi di Padma Resort Ubud. Teknik pengumpulan data yang dilakukan menggunakan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan bersifat induktif yang terdiri dari reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan (verifikasi). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa motivasi kerja karyawan Padma Resort Ubud sudah baik karena manajemen Padma Resort Ubud telah berupaya untuk tetap memberikan gaji UMR & service agar kinerja karyawan tetap produktif di masa pandemi COVID-19, meskipun beberapa karyawan mengeluhkan pekerjaan yang dilakukan tidak sesuai dengan bidangnya. COVID-19 pandemic has become a bad phenomenon for tourism globally which caused the hospitality sector, especially in Bali to weaken. The purpose of this study was to analyze the state of work motivation and employee performance during the pandemic at Padma Resort Ubud. Data collection techniques were carried out using observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique used is inductive which consists of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing (verification). The results show that the work motivation of Padma Resort Ubud employees is good because the management of Padma Resort Ubud has tried to continue to provide minimum wages regional & service salaries so that employee performance remains productive during the COVID-19 pandemic, although some employees complain that the work they do is not in accordance with their fields.
