Pandemi Covid-19 yang sedang melanda dunia, tidak hanya berdampak pada dunia kesehatan, tetapi juga sangat mempengaruhi seluruh aspek kehidupan masyarakat. Salah satu industri yang sangat terdampak oleh pandemi adalah industri pariwisata, di mana di dalamnya terdapat sektor akomodasi wisata atau perhotelan. Sektor ini secara umum didominasi oleh perusahaan besar baik dalam negeri maupun milik asing, sektor perhotelan lumpuh beberapa bulan terakhir. Penelitian ini merupakan replikasi dari penelitian sebelumnya yang dilakukan oleh Rahmat (2018) dan Clarissa (2017) perbedaannya adalah teknik analisis yang digunakan dimana penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan dilakukan pada masa pandemi Covid 19. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana Motivasi dan Semangat Kerja Karyawan di Astagina Resort Legian Pada Masa Pandemi Covid-19. Tempat penelitian yaitu di Astagina Resort Legian, penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Maret 2021 sampai dengan Juni 2021 berlokasi di Gg. Bulan, Legian, Kuta, Kabupaten Badung, Bali. Sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah sebanyak 3 narasumber. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan triangulasi dengan Reduksi Data, Penyajian Data, dan Penarikan Kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa Motivasi Karyawan mulai menurun dampak dari fenomena pandemi Covid-19 yang terjadi sehingga manajemen melakukan kebijakan yang berdampak pada menurunnya take home pay karyawan, pengurangan karyawan, serta penambahan jobdesk bagi karyawan yang masih bertahan. Semangat kerja karyawan juga mengalami penurunan akibat menurunnya motivasi kerja terlihat dari beberapa indikator semangat kerja yang tidak tercapai. Dari penelitian ini disarankan agar pihak manajemen bisa memberikan motivasi psikologis kepada karyawan agar tetap dapat bertahan di masa yang sulit ini. The Covid-19 pandemic that is currently sweeping the world has not only had an impact on the world of health, but has also greatly affected all aspects of people's lives. One of the industries that has been badly affected by the pandemic is the tourism industry, in which there is a tourist accommodation or hotel sector. This sector is generally dominated by large companies both domestic and foreign-owned, the hotel sector has been paralyzed in recent months. This research is a replication of previous research conducted by Rahmat (2018) and Clarissa (2017) the difference is the analytical technique used where this research uses a qualitative approach and was carried out during the Covid 19 pandemic. This study aims to find out how Employee Motivation and Morale at Astagina Resort Legian During the Covid-19 Pandemic. The research location is at Astagina Resort Legian, this research was carried out from March 2021 to June 2021 located at Gg. Bulan, Legian, Kuta, Badung Regency, Bali. The sample in this study amounted to 3 sources. Data collection techniques in this study used observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis uses triangulation with Data Reduction, Data Presentation, and Conclusion Drawing. The results showed that employee motivation began to decline as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic phenomenon that occurred so that management implemented policies that had an impact on reducing employee take home pay, reducing employees, and adding job desks for employees who were still surviving. Employee morale also decreased due to decreased work motivation as seen from several indicators of morale that were not achieved. From this research it is suggested that management can provide psychological motivation to employees so they can survive in this difficult time.
