The COVID-19 pandemic drastically transformed the education system, forcing teaching and learning activities to shift to online platforms. This transition brought new challenges, particularly a decrease in direct interaction between educators and students, as well as a decline in learning motivation among the younger generation. To reignite students' interest in learning and foster creativity in the post-pandemic era, the Architecture Study Program at Tarumanagara University held a workshop titled “Folding Paper” for 12th-grade students from Karangturi High School in Semarang. This workshop employed a hands-on learning approach based on folding architecture techniques, emphasizing spatial form exploration using paper as a medium. Participants were guided to design and build shelter models in groups, while also being given the opportunity to present their projects. The activity aimed to introduce students to the fundamentals of architectural thinking in an engaging way, while enhancing their visual, communication, and teamwork skills. The outcomes demonstrated that exploratory, practice-based learning effectively increases students’ interest in architecture and deepens their spatial understanding and creative potential. It is expected that through workshops accompanied by hands-on practice, the younger generation's interest in learning will increase significantly. ABSTRAK Pandemi COVID-19 telah mengubah secara drastis sistem pendidikan, memaksa proses belajar mengajar beralih ke platform daring. Perubahan ini menimbulkan tantangan baru, terutama dalam menurunnya interaksi langsung antara pengajar dan siswa serta merosotnya minat belajar generasi muda. Dalam rangka menumbuhkan kembali minat belajar dan meningkatkan kreativitas siswa pasca pandemi, Program Studi Arsitektur Universitas Tarumanagara menyelenggarakan workshop bertema folding paper untuk siswa kelas 12 SMA Karangturi Semarang. Workshop ini mengusung pendekatan pembelajaran berbasis praktik dengan teknik folding architecture, yang menitikberatkan pada eksplorasi bentuk spasial melalui media kertas. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif dengan pendekatan laporan kegiatan dimana terbagi menjadi dua tahap yaitu kegiatan persiapan dan kegiatan pelaksanaan. Para peserta diajak membuat maket naungan dalam kelompok, sekaligus dilatih untuk mempresentasikan hasil karya mereka. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk mengenalkan dasar-dasar berpikir arsitektural secara menyenangkan, serta melatih kemampuan visual, komunikasi, dan kerja sama tim. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan pembelajaran praktik berbasis eksplorasi mampu menumbuhkan ketertarikan siswa terhadap dunia arsitektur serta mengasah kreativitas dan pemahaman ruang secara lebih mendalam. Diharapkan bahwa melalui kegiatan workshop yang disertai dengan praktik langsung, minat belajar generasi muda dapat meningkat.
