Abstract

The development of information technology provides significant opportunities in data management to help make more accurate business decisions. One method used is data mining, especially the K-Nearest Neighbor (K-NN) technique which is quite effective in classification and forecasting based on past data. This study aims to apply the K-NN technique to predict sales of the most popular books and scriptures at the Assyarif Book Store, located at the Salafiyah Syafi'iyah Islamic Boarding School in Sukorejo. It is hoped that this method can help in planning stock and identifying products that are most in demand by customers. This study uses a quantitative approach with observation, interviews, and documentation collection methods. The data used include price, quantity sold, initial stock, and final stock. The results of the analysis using Euclidean Distance show that the K-NN technique is able to predict sales categories (best-selling or not-selling) with an accuracy level of 75% obtained from cross-validation testing, so it can be an effective solution to support sales management and data-based decisions.

Abstract

Globalization brings significant changes in various aspects of life, including education. In schools, Islamic Religious Education faces substantial challenges in the face of current globalization, which often affects local cultural values and identity. This journal aims to analyze how Islamic Religious Education can adapt and respond to the challenges of globalization in schools. This research uses a qualitative approach with literature study methods and in-depth interviews with educators and educational practitioners. The results of the analysis show that P.A.I. in schools needs to integrate global values while maintaining the basic principles of Islamic teachings. The proposed strategy includes adjusting the curriculum to include international issues with an Islamic perspective, training educators to face global challenges, and developing relevant learning media. It is hoped that these findings can guide the development of educational policies and practices that are more responsive to the challenges of globalization while still maintaining the integrity of Islamic values.

Abstract

Situbondo Sekai Community gathers individuals who have a sense of interest in Japanese culture and anime, or wibu for short. Interests and hobbies are one of the main reasons this community was formed. A very foreign culture is increasingly turning into a reality that eventually blends into society. Similarly, the Situbondo Sekai community takes cultural values from Japan, which they then use as the main foundation in building solidarity. Basically, a wibu's identity is based on his or her actions that are directly accepted by the outside community and subjective assessments from other individuals. So that in the end it will form a new knowledge that has been objectivized and agreed upon. Wibu are just like any other human being, what makes their label different from others is the community they choose. The community can represent their role in the context of interactions between fellow individuals.
