Abstract

Dalam lingkungan bisnis yang semakin kompetitif dan sensitif terhadap isu keberlanjutan, perusahaan harus terus melakukan perbaikan berkelanjutan untuk menjaga kinerja keuangan dan memastikan keberlanjutan bisnis jangka panjang. Total Quality Management (TQM) menjadi salah satu alat strategis, namun keberhasilannya sangat bergantung pada kekuatan budaya organisasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis integrasi TQM dalam budaya organisasi serta dampaknya terhadap kinerja keuangan. Pendekatan mixed-methods digunakan di Perum Perhutani KPH Banyuwangi, dengan analisis kuantitatif menggunakan regresi berganda dan analisis kualitatif melalui wawancara mendalam serta analisis tematik. Studi dilakukan pada Perum Perhutani dengan menitikberatkan peran budaya organisasi dalam memoderasi hubungan antara TQM dan kinerja keuangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa TQM secara signifikan meningkatkan Return on Assets (ROA) dan Return on Investment (ROI) serta menurunkan biaya operasional. Budaya organisasi yang mendorong inovasi dan perbaikan berkelanjutan memperkuat efektivitas penerapan TQM. Budaya organisasi tidak hanya mendukung, tetapi juga mempercepat manfaat finansial dari implementasi TQM. Integrasi TQM ke dalam budaya organisasi menjadi kunci untuk mendorong kinerja bisnis yang berkelanjutan. Studi ini memberikan kontribusi terhadap literatur dengan menyoroti pentingnya dimensi budaya dalam TQM serta menawarkan wawasan praktis bagi organisasi yang ingin membangun ketahanan dan daya saing di industri yang dinamis.

Abstract

The growth of Islamic banking in Indonesia reflects the increasing demand for financial systems that align with faith-based values and ethical management practices. Within this context, the success of Islamic banks depends not only on financial instruments but also on how Islamic culture and managerial capability shape employee motivation and performance. This study aims to examine the influence of Islamic organizational culture and managerial capability on financial performance, with work motivation as a mediating variable. A quantitative method was employed using primary data collected from 80 employees of Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI). The data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) to test direct and indirect relationships among the variables.The results reveal that Islamic organizational culture and managerial capability significantly enhance employee motivation, improving performance and strengthening the bank’s financial outcomes. Work motivation partially mediates the relationships between Islamic values, managerial competence, and financial performance.This study emphasizes the need for Islamic banks to integrate faith-based culture with managerial excellence to build motivated, ethical, and high-performing employees. The findings contribute to Islamic finance scholarship by demonstrating that spiritual and behavioral dimensions within organizations can yield.

Abstract

This community service program aimed to strengthen Qur'anic literacy, worship discipline, and basic financial literacy among the congregation of Surau Wang Ulu, Kangar, Perlis, Malaysia, through a Muhammadiyah values-based empowerment approach. The ten-week program employed Participatory Action Research (PAR) across five stages: needs assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation, and follow-up. A total of 50 main participants took part, comprising 38 children aged 7–15 and 12 adults, with 25 parents and surau administrators serving as supporting participants. Interventions included talaqqi-based Qur'anic instruction, structured salah simulation, individual mentoring, parental engagement workshops, and basic financial literacy sessions. Data were collected through pre- and post-assessments, observation checklists, attendance records, and participant feedback, and analyzed descriptively. Post-programme assessments showed improvements across all measured indicators: tahsin recitation accuracy (72%), tajwid application (70%), beginner Qur'anic reading progression (65%), salah movement accuracy (68%), congregational prayer participation (75%), and basic financial literacy (60%). Community attendance throughout the programme reached 85%. These findings indicate that an integrated Muhammadiyah-based community service model combining spiritual, worship, and life-skills components can yield measurable improvements across religious and socioeconomic domains.
