Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh Pelatihan Interval terhadaap kemampuan VO2Max atlet karate FORKI Kota Denpasar. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif eksperimen metode “one group pretest-posttest”. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan tes pengukuran MFT (Multistage Fitness Test). Subyek dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 15 orang atlet. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan, sebelum pelatihan (pre-test), total nilai VO2max adalah 552,9, dengan rata-rata 36,86, median 36,8, dan modus 35. Setelah pelatihan (post-test), total nilai meningkat menjadi 600,3, dengan rata-rata 40,02, median 39,6, dan modus 39.6. Peningkatan rata-rata sebesar 3,16 poin mengindikasikan peningkatan kapasitas VO2max atlet secara signifikan. Peningkatan juga terlihat pada nilai maksimum (awalnya 39,6, meningkat menjadi 42,6) dan minimum (awalnya 35, meningkat menjadi 38,2), masing-masing sebesar 3,0 poin dan 3,2 poin. Berdasarkan hasil uji t dua sampel independen, diperoleh nilai signifikansi p < 0001, ini menunjukkan perbedaan signifikan antara kedua kelompok. Uji Levene menunjukkan homogenitas varians kedua kelompok (p = 0,567), sehingga asumsi kesamaan varians terpenuhi. Nilai rata-rata kedua kelompok berbeda sebesar 3,16 poin, dengan kelompok pertama memiliki nilai lebih rendah. Selisih ini didukung interval kepercayaan 95% yang tidak mencakup nol, yaitu antara -4,24 hingga -2,08, memperkuat bahwa perbedaan tersebut bukan kebetulan. Hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa pelatihan interval berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan kemampuan VO2max pada atlet karate FORKI Kota Denpasar. Levene's test showed homogeneity of variance between the two groups (p = 0.567), so the assumption of equality of variance was met. The average value of the two groups differed by 3.16 points, with The first group has a lower value. This difference is supported by a 95% confidence interval that does not include zero, which is between -4.24 to -2.08, strengthening that the difference is not a coincidence. The results of this study can be concluded that interval training has an effect on increasing VO2max ability in athletes from the FORKI team in Denpasar City. Keyword: Training, Interval, VO2Max
