Abstract

Background: Water is very useful for household, industrial, and other public places. The availability of clean water is essential to support a healthy life. Especially in urban areas where the population growth rate is very high, it is increasingly difficult to get clean water that meets health requirements both in quality and quantity. Clean water that has been used 80% of it becomes wastewater. If the wastewater is not treated, it will cause human diseases such as diarrhea, polio, and worms.Purpose: The aim is to analyze the quality inspection of waste water samples at the IPAL Outlet of RSUD dr.A. Dadi Tjokrodipo Bandar Lampung City.Methods: The type of research carried out is observation and the next test sample is further analyzed in the laboratory. The author wants to know the effectiveness of Microfiltration Membrane Performance on Reducing Coliform Numbers in the Wastewater Treatment Plant at dr. A. Dadi Tjokrodipo Bandar Lampung City in 2024.Results: The results of the study, based on the analysis of the quality inspection of wastewater samples at the Outlet of the WWTP at dr. A. Dadi Hospital. The performance of the Microfiltration Membrane, is able to suppress and reduce Coliform levels to 437 MPN/100 ml of test results, testing with Total Coliform parameters. Conclusion: The conclusion is that the performance of the Microfiltration Membrane is able to suppress and reduce Coliform levels from the initial test results found that the wastewater sample 7800 MPN/100 ml exceeds the maximum allowable level which should be 3000 MPN/100 ml. Of course this is still a problem because water discharged into water bodies can cause a source of disease for humans.Suggestion: Further research was carried out on the amount of water produced and how long it takes to saturate the microfiltration membrane. Keywords: Membrane, Wastewater Treatment Plant, Coliform ABSTRAK Latar Belakang: Air sangat berguna untuk kepentingan rumah tangga, industri, maupun tempat-tempat umum yang lainnya. Tersedianya air bersih adalah mutlak untuk menunjang kehidupan yang sehat. Terlebih di daerah perkotaan yang tingkat pertumbuhan penduduknya sangat tinggi dirasakan semakin sulit untuk mendapatkan air bersih yang memenuhi syarat-syarat kesehatan baik secara kualitas maupun kuantitas. Air bersih yang sudah dipakai 80% nya menjadi air limbah. Air limbah tersebut apabila tidak diolah akan menyebabkan timbulnya penyakit pada manusia seperti diare, polio, dan cacingan.Tujuan: Menganalisis kualitas air limbah di Outlet IPAL RSUD dr. A. Dadi. Tjokrodipo Kota Bandar Lampung menggunakan membrane mikrofiltrasi.Metode: Jenis penelitian yang dilakukan bersifat observasi dan sampel uji seterusnya dianalisis lebih lanjut di laboratorium. Penulis ingin mengetahui keefektifan kinerja membran mikrofiltrasi terhadap penurunan angka coliform di instalasi pengolahan air limbah di RSUD Dr. A. Dadi Tjokrodipo kota Bandar Lampung tahun 2024.Hasil: Hasil penelitian, berdasarkan analisis pemeriksaan kualitas sampel air limbah di Outlet IPAL RSUD Dr. A. Dadi Tjokrodipo Kota Bandar Lampung, kinerja Membran Mikrofiltrasi, mampu menekan dan menurunkan kadar Coliform menjadi 437 MPN per/100 ml dari hasil uji, pengujian dengan parameter Total Coliform.Kesimpulan: Kesimpulan yaitu, bahwa pada kinerja Membran Mikrofiltrasi mampu menekan dan menurunkan kadar Coliform dari hasil pengujian awal ditemukan sampel air limbah 7800 MPN per/100ml melebihi kadar maksimum yang diperbolehkan yang seharusnya 437 MPN /100 ml. Tentunya hal tersebut sudah memenuhi persyaratan.Saran: Dilaksanakan penelitian lebih lanjut jumlah air yang dihasilkan dan berapa lama waktu jenuh dari membran mikrofiltrasi. KataKunci: Membran, Instalasi Pengolahan Air Limbah, Coliform
