This research is based on the phenomenon of the emergence of less commendable attitudes among students in the school environment. This behavior cannot be separated from various factors that influence it and give rise to positive and negative implications. In this modern era, students tend to experience emotional fluctuations, difficulty in making choices, and easily show emotional reactions when facing problems. At SDN 006 Serosah Village, it was found that there were odd attitudes of students who were unfriendly, easily emotional, and seemed indifferent to the environment, so that attitudes that lacked sympathy and empathy towards the surrounding environment became a benchmark for the lack of morals of the students themselves. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study design which was carried out at SDN 006 Serosah Village. Data collection techniques included observation and in-depth interviews with Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers and students at SDN 006, Serosah Village. This study aims to examine the efforts of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers in instilling polite behavior through guidance, role modeling, advice, and motivation The results of this study state that Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers have a strategic role in directing and fostering student behavior to instill polite attitudes.ABSTRAK Penelitian ini berangkat dari fenomena munculnya sikap kurang terpuji di kalangan peserta didik pada lingkungan sekolah. Perilaku tersebut tidak terlepas dari beragam faktor yang memengaruhi serta menimbulkan implikasi positif maupun negatif. Pada perkembangan zaman ini, peserta didik cenderung mengalami fluktuasi emosi, kesulitan dalam menentukan pilihan, serta mudah menunjukkan reaksi emosional ketika menghadapi permasalahan. Di SDN 006 Desa Serosah ditemukan adanya kejanggalan sikap peserta didik yang tidak ramah, mudah emosi, dan terkesan cuek terhadap lingkungan, sehingga sikap yang tidak bersimpati dan empati terhadap lingkungan sekitar menjadi tolok ukur kurangnya akhlak peserta didik itu sendiri. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus yang dilaksanakan di SDN 006 Desa Serosah. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan cara observasi dan wawancara secara mendalam guru PAI dan siswa di SDN 006 Desa Serosah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji upaya guru PAI dalam menanamkan perilaku sopan santun melalui pendekatan bimbingan, ketauladanan, nasehat dan motivasi. Hasil penelitian ini menyatakan bahwa guru Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) memiliki peran strategis dalam mengarahkan dan membina perilaku siswa untuk menanamkan sikap sopan santun.
