Abstract

Penelitian ini difokuskan pada analisis penerapan serta kesiapan teknologi pendidikan di SMK Telekomunikasi Darul Ulum Jombang berdasarkan lima aspek utama, yaitu infrastruktur, tenaga pendidik, peserta didik, kurikulum, serta manajemen dan kebijakan sekolah. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus untuk mengeksplorasi implementasi teknologi pendidikan di Darul Ulum Jombang. Data dikumpulkan melalui kombinasi wawancara mendalam dengan informan kunci dan observasi partisipatif di lingkungan sekolah. Analisis data dilakukan secara interaktif mengikuti model Miles, Huberman, dan Saldana, yang mencakup tiga tahapan: reduksi data, penyajian data, serta penarikan dan verifikasi kesimpulan. Untuk memastikan kredibilitas temuan, peneliti menerapkan teknik triangulasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sekolah telah menyediakan sarana teknologi yang memadai dan terawat dengan baik, seperti laboratorium komputer, studio broadcasting, serta perangkat multimedia modern seperti drone, guna mendukung kegiatan pembelajaran digital. Para guru juga telah memanfaatkan teknologi secara aktif dalam proses pembelajaran dan mengikuti pelatihan rutin, meskipun masih menghadapi kendala seperti keterbatasan akses terhadap teknologi terkini. Di sisi lain, siswa memberikan tanggapan positif terhadap penggunaan teknologi, terbukti dari tingginya intensitas penggunaan platform digital dan meningkatnya pemahaman materi melalui pembelajaran interaktif. Dari aspek kurikulum, sekolah menerapkan metode seperti pembelajaran berbasis proyek serta penilaian berbasis digital yang memungkinkan pemantauan hasil belajar secara langsung. Dari sisi kebijakan, sekolah menunjukkan komitmen dalam integrasi teknologi melalui kebijakan khusus dan dukungan dari mitra eksternal seperti,PT Telkom dan Pemerintah, baik dalam bentuk fasilitas, pelatihan, maupun program kerja sama. Secara keseluruhan, SMK Telekomunikasi Darul Ulum Jombang telah menunjukkan kesiapan yang baik dalam membangun ekosistem pembelajaran berbasis teknologi yang selaras dengan perkembangan zaman.

Abstract

Character education has become an urgent need within the national education system. One of the strategies used to shape students' character is through regular religious activities, such as *kultum* (seven-minute religious talks). This study aims to determine the effectiveness of *kultum* activities in shaping students' character. It employs a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data collection techniques include observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The research subjects include Islamic Education teachers, *kultum* activity supervisors, and students who participate in these activities. The findings indicate that *kultum* activities contribute positively to students' character development. Students who actively deliver *kultum* show increased self-confidence, greater courage in public speaking, and a deeper understanding of Islamic values. Additionally, this activity fosters a religious culture within the school environment. However, there are still some challenges in its implementation, such as insufficient preparation by some students, low active participation from students who are not used to public speaking, and uneven distribution of *kultum* responsibilities among all students.

Abstract

Bullying remains a serious issue in educational institutions, including Islamic boarding schools, due to its negative impact on students’ psychological, social, and spiritual development. Although pesantren are known for their strong emphasis on religious and moral values, bullying still occurs in various forms verbal, physical, and psychological. This indicates a gap between value education and its practical application in daily life. This study aims to analyze the strategies implemented by Muhammadiyah Boarding School (MBS) Klaten in addressing bullying among students. Using a qualitative approach, data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings reveal that the causes of bullying include internal factors, such as students’ introverted or aggressive traits, and external factors like a culture of seniority.   MBS Klaten has adopted several preventive strategies, including confidential reporting mechanisms, education about the dangers of bullying, close supervision by dormitory supervisors (musyrif), and counseling services. These strategies have proven effective in creating a safe, inclusive environment that supports students’ character development. The implications of this study highlight the need for faith-based educational institutions to develop a comprehensive and systemic approach to bullying prevention beyond moral instruction alone. Strengthening collaboration among caregivers, teachers, and counselors is essential to build a responsive detection and intervention system. Additionally, promoting a culture of empathy, compassion, and care should be integrated into all aspects of student life as part of sustainable character education.

Abstract

General Background: Character education plays a fundamental role in shaping the moral quality of students and is central to the goals of Islamic education. Specific Background: In the context of Madrasah Tsanawiyah (MTs), Akidah Akhlak teachers serve as moral agents who internalize religious and ethical values into students’ behavior. Knowledge Gap: However, limited empirical studies have examined the strategic role of these teachers in shaping character within Indonesia’s formal education system. Aims: This study aims to explore the specific roles, challenges, and solutions implemented by Akidah Akhlak teachers in forming student character at MTs Negeri 7 Klaten. Results: Using a qualitative case study through interviews, observations, and documentation, the research found that teachers play multifaceted roles—educator, role model, and moral guide—using strategies like habituation, religious practices, and collaboration with counselors and parents. Novelty: The integration of Islamic moral instruction with contextual character education aligned with national and global values presents a unique model of character formation. Implications: The findings suggest that synergizing religious pedagogy with collaborative educational ecosystems enhances the effectiveness of character building, offering insights for broader applications in faith-based education institutions.Highlight : The Akidah Akhlak teacher plays a key role in shaping student character through modeling, spiritual motivation, and discipline. Character formation is most effective when involving collaboration between teachers, BK counselors, and parents. Modern challenges such as social media and weak communication hinder moral education and require contextual religious guidance.
