<![CDATA[This research is motivated by the low participation of students in mutual cooperation and students' lack of awareness in maintaining plants. This study aims to determine and analyze data about the effect of the Adiwiyata Program on the Environmental Care Character Value of Laboratory Development Junior High School Students (UNP). This type of research uses a quantitative approach with a descriptive correlational method. The population in this study was a total of 8 classes with a total population of 211. The technique used is purposive sampling, samples with a total of 54 samples with data analysis techniques descriptive percentage analysis, and conditional tests. The results showed that the average VIII.A class with a percentage of 95% was in the "Good" category. Class VIII.B with a percentage of 88% is in the "Good" category. As for the character value of environmental care, the average of class VIII.A with a percentage of 92% is in the "Good" category. Then the hypothesis test was carried out through these calculations, and the correlation results obtained from a correlation of 0.575 with a significance value of 0.000. Due to the significance value <0.05, it can be concluded that there is a significant correlation or relationship between the Adiwiyata program and the environmental care character of students at the Padang State University Laboratory Development Junior High School. AbstrakPenelitian ini di latar belakangi oleh masih rendahnya partisipasi siswa dalam gotong royong dan kurangnya kesadaran siswa dalam memelihara tanaman. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis data tentang Pengaruh Program Adiwiyata Terhadap Nilai Karakter Peduli Lingkungan Siswa SMP Pembangunan Laboratorium(UNP). Jenis penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode deskriptif korelasional. Populasi dalam penelitian ini dengan jumlah total 8 kelas dengan jumlah populasi 211. Teknik yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling, sampel dengan total sebanyak 54 sampe dengan teknik analisis data analisis deskriptif persentase dan uji persyarat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata kelas VIII.A dengan persentase 95% dalam kategori “Baik”. Dan kelas VIII.B dengan persentase 88% termasuk kategori “Baik”. Sedangkan untuk nilai karakter peduli lingkungan didapatkan rata rata kelas VIII.A dengan persentase 92% termasuk kategori “Baik”. Adapun kelas VIII.B dengan persentase 87% termasuk kategori “Baik”. lalu dilakukan uji hipotesis melalui perhitungan tersebut didapatkan hasil korelasi hasil dari korelasi sebesar 0,575 dengan nilai signifikansi 0,000. Dikarenakan nilai signifikansi < 0,05 maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa adanya korelasi atau hubungan yang signifikan antara program adiwiyata dengan karakter peduli lingkungan peserta didik di SMP pembangunan Laboraturium Universitas Negeri Padang. ]]>
