<![CDATA[The Dialogue between the Qur’an and the Bible on Religious Moderation. The problem formulation of this study is how the concept of dialogue between the Qur’an and the Bible on religious moderation is, and what the mechanism of dialogue between the Qur’an and the Bible on religious moderation is. This study aims to: 1) understand the concept of dialogue between the Qur’an and the Bible on religious moderation, and 2) understand the mechanism of dialogue between the Qur’an and the Bible on religious moderation. The approach used is a normative theological approach, which seeks to understand religion using a framework of divine knowledge based on a belief that the empirical reality of a religion is considered the truest compared to others. The theoretical approach used is inductive, a thought process that starts from specific rules (events or matters) to determine a general rule (principle). The findings of this study show that dialogue, which is presented in written form, is presented as a conversation between two or more figures, straightforwardly, and also involves questions and answers regarding a problem as desired. The results of this research indicate that in both Islam and Christianity, dialogue teaches how to understand and tolerate each other in religious moderation. Therefore, both religions, especially the Qur’an and the Bible, understand that the dialogue mentioned serves to convey a message to others, aiming to touch the fundamental values of religion.]]>
