This study aims to describe and analyze Generation Z students’ understanding of faith in Nash??ih al-‘Ib?d (Advice for Servants), Chapter II, authored by Shaykh Nawaw? al-Bant?n?, at Khozinatul Ulum 3 Al Mubarak Islamic Boarding School. The study is motivated by the enduring significance of classical Islamic texts as sources of moral and spiritual guidance, alongside the contemporary challenges faced by Generation Z in the digital era. A qualitative approach with a case study design was employed. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, documentation, and literature review, then analyzed using Miles, Huberman, and Saldaña’s qualitative data analysis framework, which includes data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing, with validity ensured through triangulation of sources and methods. The findings indicate that Generation Z students understand faith not only as inner belief but also as actionable practices that provide social benefits. Nevertheless, they face digital challenges that affect the consistency of their faith, resulting in fluctuations that require continuous guidance. Modern Islamic boarding schools play a crucial role in recontextualizing classical texts through adaptive, interactive, and contextually relevant teaching methods. The study concludes that strengthening faith among Generation Z requires a synergy between traditional pesantren instruction and digital literacy, ensuring that classical Islamic teachings remain contextual, applicable, and capable of guiding the younger generation in navigating contemporary challenges. ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis pemahaman santri Generasi Z terhadap konsep keimanan dalam Kitab Nasooikhul ‘Ibad Bab II karya Syekh Nawawi al-Bantani di Pondok Pesantren Khozinatul Ulum 3 Al Mubarak. Latar belakang penelitian ini didasari oleh pentingnya kitab klasik sebagai pedoman moral dan spiritual di pesantren, serta tantangan yang dihadapi Generasi Z dalam menjaga stabilitas iman di era digital dan globalisasi. Fokus penelitian diarahkan pada bagaimana santri menafsirkan iman, mengaitkannya dengan amal nyata, serta menyesuaikan praktik keagamaan dengan konteks kontemporer. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus, melibatkan wawancara mendalam, observasi partisipatif, dokumentasi, dan studi pustaka sebagai teknik pengumpulan data, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan model Miles, Huberman, dan Saldaña (2014), yang meliputi reduksi data, penyajian, dan penarikan kesimpulan, serta divalidasi melalui triangulasi sumber dan metode. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa santri memahami iman sebagai integrasi antara keyakinan batin, pengakuan lisan, dan amal nyata yang memberi manfaat sosial, termasuk dalam aktivitas belajar bersama, kontribusi sosial, dan pengelolaan perilaku digital. Mereka menghadapi tantangan dari media digital yang dapat mengganggu konsistensi iman, sehingga perlu bimbingan berkelanjutan. Pesantren modern berperan penting dalam merekontekstualisasi kitab kuning melalui metode pembelajaran interaktif dan adaptif yang menghubungkan ajaran klasik dengan realitas modern. Simpulan penelitian menegaskan bahwa penguatan keimanan Generasi Z memerlukan sinergi antara transmisi tradisional pesantren dan literasi digital, agar nilai-nilai kitab klasik tetap relevan, aplikatif, dan mampu membimbing santri menghadapi tantangan kehidupan kontemporer.
