Abstract

Abstract. Pricing strategy is a crucial element in managerial economics as it directly influences demand, profitability, and the competitive position of firms in the market. However, pricing decisions are highly complex since they are affected by cost structures, demand elasticity, market structure, and the dynamics of digitalization. This study aims to systematically review the literature on pricing strategies within the scope of managerial economics. The research employed a qualitative approach through a Systematic Literature Review. The findings reveal that pricing strategies can be classified into several major categories, namely price discrimination, new product pricing, pricing in established markets, and innovative pricing in the context of digitalization and e-commerce. Furthermore, technological advancement and data analytics are found to significantly shape modern pricing models. This study concludes that pricing strategy is a vital managerial tool to enhance competitiveness and business sustainability, while also highlighting opportunities for future research on the integration of big data and artificial intelligence into pricing practices. Abstrak. Penetapan harga merupakan salah satu aspek penting dalam ekonomi manajerial karena berhubungan langsung dengan permintaan, laba, serta posisi kompetitif perusahaan di pasar. Namun, strategi penetapan harga memiliki kompleksitas tinggi karena dipengaruhi oleh faktor biaya, elastisitas permintaan, struktur pasar, hingga dinamika digitalisasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meninjau secara sistematis literatur terkait strategi penetapan harga dalam ekonomi manajerial. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan Systematic Literature Review. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa strategi penetapan harga dapat dikategorikan ke dalam beberapa pendekatan utama, yaitu diskriminasi harga, penetapan harga produk baru, strategi harga di pasar mapan, serta inovasi harga dalam konteks digital dan e-commerce. Selain itu, ditemukan bahwa perkembangan teknologi dan analisis data memberikan kontribusi signifikan terhadap model penetapan harga modern. Kesimpulan penelitian ini menegaskan pentingnya strategi harga sebagai instrumen manajerial untuk meningkatkan daya saing dan keberlanjutan bisnis, sekaligus membuka peluang penelitian lanjutan mengenai integrasi big data dan kecerdasan buatan dalam praktik penetapan harga.
