Abstract

The act when someone pay to get a certain product known as purchase decision. Purchase decisions are influenced by various factors, including brand image and product quality. The aims of this study was to analize the influence of brand image and product quality toward the decision made to buy at Sun Osing Beach Souvenir Center. The type of research applied in this study is a quantitative associative research. The sampling technique used nonprobability sampling with 50 respondents. The research data processing used a statistical test tool, SPSS version 24. The results of data analized picture that partially brand image variable has a significant effect on purchasing decisions. On the other side, product quality variable does not have a significant effect on purchasing decisions. Meanwhile, the simultaneous test analysis shows that brand image and product quality have a simultaneous influence tourists purchasing decisions at Sun Osing Beach Souvenir Center

Abstract

Sheraton Surabaya Hotel & Towers merupakan salah satu hotel bintang lima yang ada di Surabaya, Jawa Timur, Indonesia. Masing-masing departemen di Sheration Surabaya Hotel & Towers memiliki tugas dan tanggung-jawab. Salah satu section di departemen Front Office yang bertugas untuk menyambut serta memberikan pelayanan prima adalah Guest Relation Officer. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kualitas pelayanan Guest Relation Officer (GRO) terhadap kepuasan tamu di Sheraton Surabaya Hotel & Towers. Penelitian ini disajikan secara deskriptif kuantitatif dengan sumber data primer dan sekunder. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, dan studi pustaka. Penelitian ini menggunakan uji instrumen berupa uji validitas dan uji reliabilitas. Penelitian ini menggunakan uji asumsi klasik berupa uji normalitas dan uji heteroskedastisitas. Penelitian ini menggunakan uji hipotesis berupa uji regresi linier sederhana, uji koefisien korelasi sederhana, uji koefisien determinasi (r2) dan uji t (parsial). Hasil dari penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberi penjelasan apakah kualitas pelayanan Guest Relation Officer (GRO) berpengaruh positif/negatif dan signifikan/tidak signifikan terhadap kepuasan tamu serta dapat menjadi bahan pertimbangan/acuan bagi Sheraton Surabaya Hotel & Towers dalam meningkatkan kinerja Guest Relation Officer (GRO
