Abstract

Accreditation serves in order to guarantee the quality of study programs and Higher Education externally to protect student and public interest, also to determine feasibility of study programs and Higher Education based on criteria that refer to national standards of Higher Education. However, the implementation of accreditation in Mercubuana University currently is still using manual process from the preparation, arrangement, monitoring, and vitalization process as well. Therefore, this thesis will propose the accreditation system which is expected to be able to provide ease of use in terms of time efficiency and effectiveness for all elements such as: Rector, vice rector, deans, vice deans, heads of program, vice heads of program, and lecturers in designing study program accreditation as well as Higher education accreditation. This system was created by using RAD (Rapid Application Development) model with stages of business modelling, data modelling, process modelling, application creating, assessing, and replacing. This system also created by using UML (Unified Modelling language) method with details of use case diagram, activity diagram, sequence diagram, and class diagram. The test results from the process that has been tested by using the black box method can be concluded that the system is running well and as expected.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Learning Management System (LMS) adalah salah satu teknologi yang semakin populer, memungkinkan pengelolaan pembelajaran secara online, termasuk pembuatan materi, pelaksanaan tugas, dan penilaian hasil belajar siswa. Di SMAN 1 Setu, penggunaan LMS belum optimal akibat keterbatasan pelatihan dan akses teknologi. Pelatihan ini bertujuan untuk merancang program pelatihan LMS bagi guru di SMAN 1 Setu, guna meningkatkan keterampilan mereka dalam mengelola kelas secara digital serta memperkaya pengalaman belajar siswa. Pelatihan yang dirancang dengan pendekatan hands-on training ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan keterlibatan siswa, memperbaiki kualitas pembelajaran, dan membangun komunitas belajar yang lebih kolaboratif antara guru dan siswa. Program pelatihan juga bertujuan untuk mengubah mindset guru mengenai pemanfaatan teknologi dalam pendidikan, serta meningkatkan literasi digital mereka. Dengan implementasi LMS yang efektif, kualitas pendidikan di SMAN 1 Setu diharapkan dapat meningkat, mempersiapkan siswa dan guru dalam menghadapi tantangan pendidikan abad ke-21. Pelatihan ini juga berkontribusi pada pengembangan kebijakan pendidikan yang berbasis teknologi dan menjadi model bagi institusi pendidikan lain dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran melalui penggunaan LMS. Kata Kunci: Learning Management System (LMS), Pelatihan Guru, Pembelajaran Online.  ABSTRACT Learning Management Systems (LMS) are an increasingly popular technology that enables the management of online learning, including content creation, assignment administration, and the assessment of student learning outcomes. At SMAN 1 Setu, the utilization of LMS has not been optimal due to limited training and access to technology. This initiative aims to design an LMS training program for teachers at SMAN 1 Setu to enhance their skills in digital classroom management and enrich the student learning experience. Designed with a hands-on training approach, this program is expected to increase student engagement, improve the quality of learning, and build a more collaborative learning community between teachers and students. Furthermore, the program aims to shift teachers' mindsets regarding the use of technology in education and improve their digital literacy. With the effective implementation of LMS, the quality of education at SMAN 1 Setu is expected to improve, preparing students and teachers to face the challenges of 21st-century education. Finally, this training contributes to the development of technology-based educational policies and serves as a model for other educational institutions in enhancing learning quality through the use of LMS. Keywords: Learning Management System (LMS), Teacher Professional Development, Online Learning.
