Abstract

Komunikasi Single-Input Single-Output (SISO) pada dasarnya terdiri atas penggunaan pemancar (Tx) dan penerima (Rx) masing-masing untuk satu buah sistem penyambungan. Cooperative wireless merupakan konsep konektivitas eksis yang terjangkau signal oleh setiap perangkat Tx-Rx lain yang memiliki fungsi sama. Untuk mengandalkan pengoperasian sistem multicarrier maka digunakan Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) agar bandwidth yang tersedia setelah spektrum dibagi menjadi sub band menjadi lebih hemat. Tulisan ini hanya mencakup hasil studi literatur yang bertujuan dalam membangun pemodelan SISO Tx-Rx berbasis OFDM-cooperative yang akan lebih mengoptimalkan fungsi perangkat Tx-Rx sebagai sebuah terminal relay, dimana Tx-Rx akan bekerjasama sebagai relay terhadap sistem lainnya.

Abstract

A new mathematical analysis to predict the magnitude size of the distortion products from the signal up-conversion process output is presented. The signal up-conversion process converts the digital baseband from the analog baseband into a radio frequency signal. When the signal baseband involves frequency offsetting then occurring a number of distortion products which can reduce the dynamic range so it is difficult to meet the spectrum mask requirements within the operating band. This paper will focus on methods of new mathematical analysis using a continuous frequency range and only applies to a single side band tone, with constant amplitude into any value of frequency offsets. The novel contribution to the analysis starts at generating the gate signal and convolution of the gate signal into the reference carrier signal. The results show very close between the simulation results and the calculation of the predicted location of the distortions.

Abstract

Allium cepa L. (Shallots) is classified as a seasonal plant that requires special water treatment techniques correctly and precise watering methods. Farmers in the highlands of Enrekang Regency, South Sulawesi, mostly still prefer watering this plant traditionally and manually even though it is in large garden areas. Farmers also find it difficult to handle watering crops on large tracts of land and are overwhelmed by not having enough time to care for water evenly. Implementation of Internet of Things (IoT) based onion watering method utilizes an ESP32 microcontroller with the Message Queuing Telemetry Transport (MQTT) protocol, and is very easy for farmers to implement. The MQTT work system implements Publish and Subscribe data. The method and system for designing this tool is that if the shallot plant is 1-10 days old, this tool will water twice a day evenly, the morning and evening. Then if the shallot plant is 11-60 days old, this tool will water only once, in the morning. When the watering automation is implemented, the information system is in the form of a message (on the smartphone) signing by logic 0. Conversely, if this tool does not flush, then the message that comes on the smartphone is as logic 1.

Abstract

One of the important mechanisms of the transmitter-receiver (Tx-Rx) digitization system through the RF upconverter is computation-based of the right solution to the harmonic problem. The cause of harmonics on the RF-spectrum in the RF upconverter architecture is the quantization process. Any change of frequency offsetting in the quantization rate causes interference so that an unwanted signal appears in the targeted signal. A number of harmonics appear also due to the rectangular nature during the pulse width / position modulation (PWM / PPM) process. To achieve the optimization of this unwanted signal elimination, it is necessary to have the right selectivity over sampling ratio (OSR) and precise techniques of using fc against the frequency clock (fclock). fclock is a determining factor for determining the number of points of quantization complexity because it is related to the representation of the phase level and amplitude of the signal. Therefore a computational rule is needed in predicting the size of the harmonic product and the harmonic elimination solution in this goal.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini terkait pada rancang bangun robot pemindah barang berbasis IoT (Internet of Things) yang mudah dan praktis. Dengan menggunakan WiFi (Wireless Fidelity) module, ESP8266, maka sistem robotik ini berfokus pada fungsi mesin lengan pengendali. Keseluruhan sistem kendali robot menggunakan media smartphone terkoneksi melalui jaringan wireless pada saluran seluler 3G atau 4G. Sistem ini merupakan solusi praktis bagaimana pengendali mobile robot berbasis Android ini dapat memiliki target jarak kendali yang jauh dan mudah untuk diaplikasikan. Metode penelitian ini yaitu merekayasa kendali gripper dengan lengan robot berfungsi transporter dengan kemampuan mengangkat, menjepit, menggeser atau memindahkan barang, sehingga barang tersebut dapat dipindahkan. Desain perancangan ini disertai dengan mikrokontroler sebagai pengelola perintah yang mengendalikan gripper dan motor servo sebagai penggerak utama aktuatornya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem uji lengan robot dapat berfungsi dengan baik, dimana robot dapat mengangkat beban maksimal 545,6 gram sesuai dengan rancangan yang telah dibuat. Jarak maksimal jangakuan pengontrolan perintah robot adalah 155 meter.

Abstract

Video meeting is a broadband internet-based service for long-distance communication, both visual and audio, in one room or in different rooms at the same time. Network testing using wireshark software connects to the Telkomsel operator's 4G LTE network. QoS parameters can display network quality such as throughput, packet loss, delay and jitter. The research experiment test used two conditions with different variables in the five types of video meeting tools being compared; zoho meeting, cisco webex meeting, google meet, zoom meeting and microsoft teams. First-condition uses random variables that do not consider the value of the number of participants and camera & microphone conditions to each client. Second-condition uses a fixed variable that the number of each client is 5 participants for each application (camera & microphone is on). The first-condition results showed that only Zoom Meeting which had a QoS value classified as Poor (index 1), especially the jitter value, compared to other applications. This application has an average jitter of 151,871 ms, that compared to TIPHON standard of 125 ms to 255 ms. The second-condition obtained Very Good QoS on throughput, packet loss and delay variables in all applications. Their variable jitter in each application is Zoho Meeting (0.101 ms), Cisco Webex meeting (0.074 ms), Google Meet (0.179 ms), Zoom meeting (0.021 ms), and Microsoft Teams (0.015 ms) which only in the standard 0 ms to/ d 75 ms. However, all applications according to the TIPHON standards are still in the Good category (index 3). The overall index average of all applications shows Good QoS.Keywords: video meeting,  wireshark, quality of service, 4G LTE.

Abstract

Generations of Millennial, X, Y and Z are very synonymous with social media presence. More focus on Generation Z which in fact were born in an era that is surrounded by cyberspace with Internet facilities, cellular technology and digital technology that are connected stable. PKM partners are students of MAN 3 Makassar and GMA-community to carry out optimization of science and technology applications through content creators with social media platforms so that Islamic da'wah media is more widespread and affordable to all people. The main target of partners is the digital natives of the Gen-Z. They are the GMA-community Mosque Youth Association which their number are 30% of the community population. The types of PKM activities are learning-by-project-based training and coaching graphic design & video-image editing to target partners so that new skills are formed in the creativity of da'wah content on the created social media platforms. The results of the technology transfer that have been provided are content creator training and the creation of 5 YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, Spotify and Web media accounts equipped as account administrator for managing social media and image and video products of the Islamic da'wah content.

Abstract

[Bahasa]: PNUP-Care merupakan gagasan program kepada masyarakat (PKM) yang diinisiasi melayani kebutuhan implementasi teknologi informasi (TI) bagi masyarakat pada era digitalasisi saat ini. GMA-community merupakan mitra PNUP-Care sebagai pilot-project pengembangan IT Rumah Ibadah pertama di wilayah kota Makassar. Rumah ibadah sebagai pusat ritual keagamaan, namun manakala dilengkapi sarana dan prasarana TI secara maksimal maka institusi ini akan menjadi lembaga referensi pendidikan karakter sekaligus pusat pengembangan kegiatan sosial kemasyarakatan baik pada aspek intelektual dan spiritual secara seimbang. Terdapat tiga aktivitas pilot-project PNUP-Care sebagai bagian dari permasalahan mitra yakni sarana dan prasarana, mutu pelayanan, dan sumber daya pengelola IT. Dengan metode observasi, teknologi transfer, penyuluhan/pelatihan, dan praktek/dem diperoleh hasil kegiatan diantranya (1) pengembangan website masjid berbasis mobile-web (2) instalasi GMA-Net berbasis fiber-optik, bebas akses dan unlimited bandwidth dan instalasi CCTV (TV monitor) multi-user yang dapat diakses oleh orangtua santri dan pengurus jamaah, (3) pelatihan berbasis learning-by-project dan coaching dengan pengenalan aplikasi web/mobile Pro dalam design grafis untuk membuat konten dakwah Islam yang menarik. Sistem digitalisasi rumah ibadah, khususnya masjid, dapat meningkatkan akses informasi global ke seluruh elemen jamaah (orangtua, remaja dan anak-anak) dalam menambah wawasan keislaman sekaligus media dakwah Islam di kekinian. Hal ini sekaligus juga sebagai langkah strategis dalam memakmurkan masjid, mendukung Gerakan Ayo Ke Masjid dan Masjid Ramah Anak (RMA). Kata Kunci: PNUP-Care, Teknologi Informasi, Masjid, Rumah Ibadah, Masjid Ramah Anak [English]: PNUP-Care is a community service initiative (PKM) designed to address the implementation needs of information technology (IT) for communities in today’s digital era. GMA-community serves as the partner for PNUP-Care and acts as the pilot project for the first IT-based House of Worship development in the city of Makassar. Houses of worship are traditionally centers for religious rituals; however, when equipped with optimal IT facilities and infrastructure, they can also serve as institutions for character education and as hubs for intellectual and spiritual community development. The PNUP-Care pilot project focuses on addressing three core issues faced by the partner institution: infrastructure, service quality, and IT management human resources. Using methods such as observation, technology transfer, counseling/training, and practical demonstrations, the project achieved several outcomes, including (1) the development of a mosque website based on mobile-web technology, (2) the installation of GMA-Net, a fiber-optic-based network providing free access and unlimited bandwidth, along with the installation of multi-user CCTV (TV monitors) accessible by both the parents of students and the mosque management, and (3) project-based learning and coaching sessions introducing professional-grade web/mobile design applications for creating engaging Islamic preaching content. The digitalization of houses of worship—particularly mosques—can significantly improve access to global information for all congregational segments (parents, youth, and children), enrich Islamic understanding, and provide a modern platform for Islamic outreach. This initiative also represents a strategic step in revitalizing mosque functions, supporting the "Let's Go to the Mosque" movement and promoting Child-Friendly Mosques (RMA). Abstract

Diabetes affects about 1.9% of the global population, mainly through Type 2 diabetes. Machine learning (ML) serves a pivotal role in enhancing diabetes prediction by analyzing complex datasets. Feature selection, a crucial ML pre-processing step, improved prediction accuracy by identifying relevant data and discarding irrelevant features. This study investigates the combination of metaheuristic algorithms and ML techniques to enhance diabetes prediction accuracy and computational efficiency. Utilizing the PIMA, Early Stage, and Vanderbilt datasets, experiments evaluated ten algorithm-model combinations based on metrics like accuracy, precision, the Wilcoxon test, and convergence curves. Key findings included that Firefly Algorithm-Logistic Regression, Bat Algorithm-Logistic Regression, and Cuckoo Search-Logistic Regression achieved 74.72% accuracy on PIMA; Firefly Algorithm-Support Vector Machine and Cuckoo Search-Naïve Bayes achieved 83.39% accuracy and 96.15% precision on Early Stage; and Firefly Algorithm-Naïve Bayes achieved 92.88% accuracy and precision on Vanderbilt. These results highlighted the potential of integrating metaheuristics with ML methods to improve clinical diagnostics. Future research is recommended to validate algorithm robustness across diverse datasets to further optimize diabetes prediction strategies.

Abstract

A bad spot is an area where signal quality fails to meet Key Performance Indicator (KPI) standards, due to factors such as limited channel capacity, BTS malfunctions, long distances from the BTS, or topographical interference. This study investigates a 4G LTE bad spot case in the rural area of Romanglasa Subdistrict where RSRP levels range from -100 dBm to -120 dBm. Although several e-nodeBs are present around the area, physical obstructions like trees and buildings continue to degrade signal quality. The objective of this study is to effectively implement a Compact Mobile Station (COMBAT), analyze the installation process, and evaluate the network's performance after deployment. The methods used include drive testing, BTS site surveys, simulations, and network design. The installation was carried out in collaboration with Telkomsel using Combat-571 as the cell ID. Following deployment, network quality measurements and post-drive testing were conducted. The results showed significant improvements: download throughput reached 47.6 Mbps, upload 28.4 Mbps, jitter decreased to 7 ms, packet loss dropped to 0%, and latency was reduced to 21 ms. Post-installation RSRP also improved to between -80 dBm and -100 dBm, categorized as good to fair according to KPI standards.
