Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis tindak tutur ekspresif dalam kolom komentar TikTok di akun @ABEABEABE melalui pendekatan cyberpragmatics. Tindak tutur ekspresif merupakan bentuk komunikasi yang menggambarkan sikap psikologis penutur, seperti senang, marah, atau kecewa, yang sering muncul dalam interaksi digital. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan teknik analisis isi, di mana data dikumpulkan dari 35 komentar yang mengandung tindak tutur ekspresif. Hasil penelitian mengidentifikasi enam fungsi utama, yaitu berterima kasih (22 tuturan), mengucapkan selamat (6 tuturan), mengeluh (4 tuturan), memuji (2 tuturan), mengkritik (1 tuturan), dan menyalahkan (0 tuturan). Fungsi berterima kasih mendominasi karena mencerminkan budaya apresiasi pengguna TikTok, sementara fungsi menyalahkan tidak ditemukan, menunjukkan kecenderungan pengguna untuk menghindari konflik langsung. Temuan ini juga mengungkap penggunaan tuturan tidak literal, seperti pujian ironis atau berterima kasih yang bermakna penolakan, yang menegaskan kompleksitas komunikasi di media sosial. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi bagi pemahaman dinamika pragmatik dalam interaksi digital, khususnya di platform TikTok, serta implikasinya terhadap studi cyberpragmatics.

Abstract

Pauses are a linguistic phenomenon that frequently appear in speech production, particularly in formal and semi-formal communication contexts that require a high level of linguistic caution. This study employs a psycholinguistic approach that examines the relationship between mental processes and language in spoken discourse. The purpose of this study is to describe the forms of pauses and the factors causing pauses in the utterances of President Joko Widodo in the Eksekutif Najwa Shihab video, which discusses issues related to the National Capital City (IKN), Gibran Rakabuming Raka, and the public demand “Adili Jokowi.” This research uses a descriptive qualitative method. The research data consist of utterances containing pauses obtained from Najwa Shihab’s YouTube videos. Data were collected using listening and note-taking techniques, while data analysis employed the extralingual equivalent method. The results of the study indicate the presence of two types of pauses, namely silent pauses and filled pauses. Filled pauses include pauses in the form of sounds and words. The factors causing pauses include the speaker’s caution in choosing words, unpreparedness in delivering ideas comprehensively, and the speaker’s effort to maintain the intended meaning of utterances in order to avoid misinterpretation.

Abstract

Education in the era of globalization in Indonesia faces challenges in maintaining national identity while simultaneously shaping a young generation with strong character and competitiveness. One effort to address this challenge is through strengthening the values of the Pancasila Student Profile. This study aims to analyze the values of the Pancasila Student Profile contained in the folklore Legenda Batang Paing Kuantan Singingi. This research employs a qualitative approach using the content analysis method. The data source is the text of the folklore, while the research data consist of phrases, sentences, and quotations that reflect the six dimensions of the Pancasila Student Profile. Data analysis techniques include determining research focus, coding, calculating the frequency of value occurrences, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The findings indicate that all dimensions of the Pancasila Student Profile are present in the folklore. The value of faith in and devotion to Almighty God appears most dominantly, reflecting the strong religiosity and moral values of the local community. The values of mutual cooperation and independence emerge with moderate intensity through the actions of the main character in helping others and facing life challenges. Meanwhile, the values of global diversity as well as critical and creative reasoning appear in a smaller proportion, mainly through attitudes of respecting traditions, decision-making, and adaptability to the environment. These findings demonstrate that Legenda Batang Paing Kuantan Singingi not only contains general character values but also represents a hierarchy of Pancasila Student Profile values that are relevant as a source of character education based on local wisdom.
