Abstract

Information Technology (IT) in the industrial world is an important part in the development of business processes and plays a vital role, including for PT Pamapersada Nusantara. To maintain the continuity of its business process activities, PT Pamapersada Nusantara is aware of the need for continuous control. This control effort is closely related to the increased risk from the application of information technology. Risks that have a negative impact have the potential to threaten the sustainability of the organization's business activities if they reach certain criteria, making it a disaster. This has prompted PT Pamapersada Nusantara to prepare for the possibility of a disaster. The purpose of this activity is to prepare an IT Disaster Recovery Plan (DRP). DRP is a type of contingency plan that includes the preparation and response of an organization in the event of a disaster. The preparation of this DRP is guided by the NIST SP 800-34 framework, which begins with risk identification and assessment, Business Impact Analysis (BIA), identification of preventive controls and preparation of contingency strategies. After these steps have been taken, it is continued with the development of a contingency plan which includes plans for the activation phase, recovery phase and reconstitution phase. The result of this activity is a DRP document that is adapted to the organizational conditions of PT Pamapersada Nusantara. This DRP document contains a service recovery guide along with preventive measures before a disaster occurs. Keywords : disaster, risk, disaster recovery plan, NIST SP 800-34.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi (TIK) saat ini telah mengantarkan era konektivitas dan kemampuan komunikasi yang lebih modern, lebih canggih dan belum pernah ada sebelumnya. Salah satu perkembangan paling menonjol dalam beberapa tahun terakhir adalah munculnya teknologi jaringan seluler generasi kelima (5G). Teknologi 5G, sebagai generasi kelima dari jaringan seluler, menawarkan kecepatan dan performa yang jauh lebih baik dibandingkan dengan teknologi sebelumnya, yaitu 4G. Dengan kemampuan untuk mencapai kecepatan data hingga 20 Gbps dan latensi serendah 1 ms, 5G berpotensi merevolusi cara kita berkomunikasi dan berinteraksi dengan teknologi. Dikenal dengan kecepatan data yang jauh lebih tinggi, latensi yang rendah, dan kapasitas yang besar, teknologi 5G diyakini mampu merevolusi berbagai industri, termasuk sektor telekomunikasi. Dalam konteks jaringan komputer, implementasi teknologi 5G diharapkan dapat meningkatkan secara signifikan kecepatan dan performa jaringan. Hal ini akan membuka peluang baru untuk pengembangan aplikasi dan layanan yang lebih canggih, seperti Internet of Things (IoT), kendaraan otonom, dan realitas virtual. Dengan mengkaji tren terbaru, perbandingan metode, dan aplikasi praktis dari berbagai teknologi jaringan, artikel ini memberikan gambaran menyeluruh tentang bagaimana 5G mengubah lanskap jaringan. Penelitian terbaru menunjukkan bahwa 5G tidak hanya meningkatkan kecepatan data tetapi juga mendukung integrasi teknologi baru seperti IoT, big data, hingga kemajuan di bidang kesehatan, ekonomi serta bisnis. Namun, di sisi lain, implementasi teknologi 5G juga menghadirkan tantangan dan kompleksitas tersendiri, baik dari segi teknis maupun non-teknis.

Abstract

This study aims to design and develop an information dashboard to assist PT. Samudra Dyan Praga in managing human resources (HR) and budgeting in exhibition activities. The research method used is a web-based information system design approach, which involves the stages of design, development, and testing of a dashboard to monitor and report on labor needs in real time. The result of this research is the creation of a dashboard that provides information on the number of workers needed, job specifications, and the budget required for each ongoing exhibition project. This dashboard can also display data accurately and in a timely manner to facilitate decision-making by management. The conclusion of this study is that the implementation of an information dashboard can improve the efficiency and effectiveness of HR management and reduce unplanned cost overruns in exhibition activities. The implication of this research is that the company can more easily monitor labor needs and evaluate budgets, which in turn supports strategic decision-making in the company’s operations, particularly in HR management and cost control.
