Abstract

In several field such as structure health monitoring, landslide monitoring and medical measurement, small displacement is used as the indicator of any problem that may rise in such fields. High resolution radar system is required for small displacement detection in millimeter of centimeter scale. Continuous wave (CW) radar with its narrow bandwidth feature, has a simpler system comparing with other radar system. However, the modification is needed to present the ability of CW radar in detecting small displacement. In this paper, dual frequency CW radar was investigated and proposed for small displacement detection. Computer simulation has been conducted to study the capability of the proposed radar system. The result shows that the dual frequency CW radar at 10.525 GHz is capable to detect a small displacement in millimeter scale. The frequency difference of the radar signal needs to be adjusted to avoid the ambiguity in the detection result

Abstract

Performansi dari suatu komunikasi nirkabel bisa ditingkatkan dengan menggunakan algoritma beamforming yang adaptif. Beamforming dapat meningkatkan efisiensi spektral dan performansi sistem komunikasi nirkabel, dengan meningkatkan penerimaan sinyal datang dan mengurangi peluang interferensi dari sebuah koneksi ke user. Untuk dapat melakukan beamforming yang adaptif, dimana teknik beamforming tersebut menyesuaikan dengan kondisi pergerakan user yang selalu berubah terhadap waktu, dibutuhkan estimasi lokasi dari sebuah user secara kontinu. Algoritma Direction of Arrival (DOA) bisa memberikan estimasi lokasi cukup akurat dengan mendeteksi keberadaan dan lokasi user yang selalu berubah. Pada penelitian ini, diujikan performa algoritma MUSIC untuk estimasi keberadaan user. Hasil simulasi menunjukan bahwa peningkatan akurasi dapat dicapai dengan meningkatnya jumlah antena, spacing antar elemen sebesar 0.5 lambda. Banyaknya user tidak berpengaruh pada akurasi dari algoritma MUSIC.

Abstract

Filter is an RF component that has an important function in a communication system. The type of filter which is usually used in receiver system is bandpass filter (BPF). The filter design method that is discussed on this paper is square ring resonator using microstrip transmission line modified by adding coupled line stub on each side of resonator. The modification is used because it is capable to optimize the return loss and to hold the insertion loss so that the filter could be working as a wideband filter. This paper discusses the influence of the geometrical changing from stripline microstrip on BPF square ring resonator microstrip performance. The evaluation is needed to obtain the optimum performance of BPF microstrip which is suitable to communication system specification. The simulation is performed using component RF simulation software with Rogers RT/Duroid 5880substrate which has dielectric constant (εr) of 2.2. The result of last simulation shows that the filter has center frequency around 1.5 GHz with its average bandwidth is around 916 MHz.

Abstract

Listrik merupakan kebutuhan hidup yang sangat penting dalam menunjang aktifitas sehari-hari. Oleh karenanya sebagai pihak penyedia jasa kelistrikan nasional, PLN atau Perusahaan Listrik Negara yang bernaung dalam bidang listrik mencoba untuk dapat memenuhi kebutuhan tersebut secara maksimal. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis Salah satu penyebab permasalahan tingginya tingkat kehilangan daya (losses) baik karena faktor teknis maupun non-teknis. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Hasil penelitian ini pemerintah dalam rangka menekan losses dan faktor non-teknis ini, PLN mengeluarkan kebijakan “Pelaksanaan Penertiban Pemakaian Tenaga Listrik (P2TL)”, dan dalam pelaksanaanya dilapangan masih terdapat kekurangan dalam pelaksanaan SOP P2TL. Dengan pengoptimalisasian ini bertujuan untuk membantu pelaksanaan “Program Penertiban Pemakaian Tenaga Listrik (P2TL)” yang sudah berjalan, kendala dan hambatan yang terjadi dalam pelaksanaan P2TL serta menyediakan solusi untuk hambatan tersebut

Abstract

Abstrak Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) merupakan radar yang berfungsi untuk mendeteksi benda yang ada di dalam tanah. Dalam perkembangannya, GPR memiliki berbagai macam aplikasi, diantaranya mendeteksi kerusakan di dalam tembok hingga mendeteksi pipa didalam tanah. Dalam pendeteksian pipa dibutuhkan resolusi yang baik agar dapat membedakan pipa didalam tanah dengan objek disekitarnya. Maka dibutuhkan Antena yang memiliki bandwidth yang lebar untuk mengakomodir hal tersebut. Selain itu diperlukan juga antena yang memiliki pola radiasi unidirecitonal, sehingga radar dapet berkerja dengan optimal.Pada penelitian ini dirancang antenna mikrostrip jenis vivaldi. Antena Vivaldi memiliki kelebihan yaitu bekerja dengan baik pada Ultra Wide-Band (UWB). Karakteristik UWB yang memiliki pulsa yang sempit akan menghasilkan resolusi yang baik. Penambahan beban sirkular pada lengan vivaldi akan meningkatkan bandwidth dari antena, dan untuk pencatuan antena menggunakan pencatuan microstrip line. Perancangan antena dimulai dengan simulasi perangkat lunak, kemudian di fabrikasi, dengan bahan substrat FR-4 dengan konstanta dielektrik 4,4 yang memiliki ketebalan 1,6mm. Hasil perancangan memiliki nilai return loss dibawah -10 dB dan nilai VSWR dibawah 2 dengan gain 8,038 dBi untuk simulasi, dan untuk hasil fabrikasi memiliki return loss dibawah -10 dB dan nilai VSWR dibawah 2 dengan bandwidth 3GHz dan gain 6,384 dBi. Sehingga antena yang dirancang memenuhi spesifikasi yang diperlukan.. Kata kunci: GPR, Antena Vivaldi , Resolusi , Ultra Wide-Band Abstract Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) are radar which have function to detect object burried at ground. On development, GPR have variety of application, like detection of broken structure inside wall until pipe detection on ground. For pipe detection, is needed good resolution in order to distinguish between pipe with other object around them. Then needed antenna which have wide bandwidth to accomodate that. Also needed unidirectional radiation pattern for antena , so radar can work optimally.In this research design an antenna vivaldi type. Antenna vivaldi have profit is can work well on Ultra Wide-Band(UWB). UWB have characteristic which have narrow pulse will produce good resolution. Adding a circular load on vivaldi arm will increase antena bandwidth. And for antenna feed will use microstrip line technique. The Antenna design start with software simulation, then fabrication, with using FR-4 as substrate material which have dielectric constant 4,4 and thickness 1,6mm. Then design result have return loss value below -10 dB and VSWR value below 2 with 8.038 dBi gain value, and for fabrication result have return loss value below -10 dB and VSWR value below 2 with 3 GHz bandwidth and 6,384 dBi gain value. Abstract

Electroplating was the process of coating metal surfaces using the electrochemical method. We used alkaline zinc (Zn2+) plating that was anti-corrosion coating, cheapest, evenly adhesion, as well as better-looking crushing. This study aims to test and measure the thickness of the layer on spark plugs with variations in different electrical currents 300, 400, and 500A and increased hours during the coating process, investigate the corrosion resistance of white rust on the surface and analyze the changes in alkaline zinc concentration and temperature that affect the thickness of the layer, respectively. The results, such as 1st sample 13 pcs, 300A, and thickness of 7.26-micron with white rust 9 pcs. 2nd sample 13 pcs, 400A, and thickness of 9.15-micron white rust 5 pcs. 3rd sample 13 pcs, 500A, and thickness of 12.75-micron white rust 3 pcs. The high electric current (500A) and 45 hours of the experiment would influence the lowest white rust corrosion level. The high alkaline zinc solution with an optimum 36°C solution temperature and 500A electric current would undoubtedly deposit the white rust until 3 pcs.

Abstract

Penerapan teknologi kini telah memasuki banyak ranah dan aspek kehidupan, antara lain pada bidang meteorologi, klimatologi, dan geofisika yang diawasi oleh BMKG. Salah satu permasalahan yang sering muncul adalah terkait evaluasi kepuasan penerimaan sistem informasi. Penerapan Sistem Informasi Pelayanan Terpadu Satu Pintu (PTSP) telah dilaksanakan sejak tahun 2020, dan kini memasuki tahun ketiga, perlu dilakukan evaluasi penerapannya di masyarakat. Salah satu metode yang dapat digunakan untuk melakukan pengukuran adalah dengan menggunakan Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). TAM merupakan salah satu alternatif dalam mengukur tingkat keinginan pengguna dalam menggunakan suatu teknologi atau sistem. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendapatkan gambaran penerapan teknologi yang telah digunakan. Hasil yang diperoleh adalah seluruh variabel mempunyai pengaruh yang signifikan sehingga Implementasi Sistem Informasi PTSP dapat dikatakan berhasil.

Abstract

The thyroid gland plays a very important role in hormonal regulation in the human body. If the thyroid gland has a disorder, it can affect the performance of body functions. The development of artificial intelligence technology today allows an expert such as a doctor to be helped by his work. One of the important roles of artificial intelligence is helping doctors, among others, to diagnose a patient to determine appropriate post-diagnosis care. Abstract

Data is very important. In today's era, any activity will involve data. Likewise, schools of course have large piles of data. A lot of data needs to be stored so that it can be managed better, the storage certainly requires a computer system in the form of a server. The server itself has several types that can be used, one of which is a local server and a cloud server. Of the several types of servers, of course, there are many variants of servers that are applied by agencies, especially in this case educational institutions or schools. In this study, several secondary schools were taken to compare which one had a higher success rate of implementation. The analysis was carried out using the Delone MClean method. The result is that the implementation of local servers has a higher success rate than cloud servers.
